Letters and Tears (Open)

"I heard Zonko's has prank stuff," Aylee grinned mischeviously.

Hmm, very interesting. Auden thought. " Cool. Next time I'm there I'll get something. Do you have any recommendations?" Auden asked.

"Never been there," Aylee shook her head.

" Oh. Well next time I'm there I'll give you some tips for pranks." Auden said with a huge smile.

"I've never pranked my brother," Aylee answered hesitantly. Then her face lit up. "Is it fun?"

" Pranking is so fun. Once I did the classic feather and shaving cream trick. It worked like a charm." Auden said.

"How do you do that?" Aylee had never pranked anyone or ever seen a prank. And her family didn't do anything special on April Fool's Day either, so it would be fun to prank her brother.

" Well, when someone is sleeping, you put shaving cream on their hand and tickle this face with a feather. When the itch it, they get the cream all over their face." Auden said.

"Awesome!" Aylee exclaimed. "Now I'm itching to try it on my brothers..."

" Yeah, its a good one." Auden replied.

"Did you have friends back home?" Aylee suddenly asked. She didn't know what else to ask.

Suddenly the air turned tense and the conversation wasn't light and airy anymore. She had a feeling that Aylee only asked because she didn't really know what else to ask about pranks. "Um. I don't really have any friends back home. When I was at a muggle elementary school I had some acquaintances but I only talked to them at school. The only real friend I have is my brother but I don't think that really counts." Auden said.

"What about you? Do you have some friends back home?" Auden asked.

Auden felt bad. "I'm sorry and that friend isn't a true friend if she or he was saying bad things about you." Auden replied.

Auden felt bad. "I'm sorry. It still must hurt." Auden said.

"Well thats good to hear." Auden said.
