She has grown and matured in the last year, being more comfortable with herself and her surroundings. She likes to be involved, but has learnt that she isn't fond of being the center of attention. Maya has struggled to settle back into student life in fourth year with pressure coming from home in the form of her parents. She is beginning to realise that her parents want her to lead a different life than what she aspires to and in her beleaguered state has become more snappy and less approachable. Maya has experienced danger in the last year and has now begun to realise what life is like outside the safety confines of Hogwarts. She has begun to have a keener interest in DADA and enjoys.
