BACKGROUND

Family background and description (Not too detailed but do not make it short): Born to a muggle father and witch mother. Middle of 3 children and only girl. Parents preferred the mundane life and lived quite far away from civilization in a country farmhouse. Due to the being isolated Maya grew up very close to her parents and siblings.
Personal history (what happened to your character until his current age, at least a paragraph about this, also this section requires to be constantly updated): Maya was raised in a quaint farmhouse in the west of Ireland. She was the envy of her siblings as she showed the most promise from a young age in regards to magic. Maya's older sibling, Tom, never showed signs of being magical and never received a letter from Hogwarts and has since been shunned from the family, even his own father sees him as a disappointment. Her younger sibling Wes is eagerly awaiting his owl. At first Maya's father had reservations about sending his sweet little girl off to a magical school but her mother put her foot down and fought for Maya's right to a magical education.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Physical Appearance (what your character looks like: this will help others visualize him or her while role-playing): With slightly sallow skin Maya tans easily and has fair hair which she is always dying and cutting into new styles. She isn't too fussy about designer clothes and jewelry as she came from a modest background. Maya's bright green eyes are her favorite feature as they are her most distinguished.
Personality (strengths, weaknesses, traits, flaws, interests, what does he or she love? hate? write a bit about each) Loves easily, outgoing, up for anything, confident and knows what she wants. She is determined and will go to any means to get what she wants if she believes in it strongly. Maya can sometimes have a temper when things aren't going well for her and stress may get to her during stressful situations but she somehow manages to keep her head down and struggle on through. Due to being the apple of her parents eyes she knows she can get away with mischief more easily than her siblings and uses it to her advantage. Maya is usually active and can be found playing sports, instruments, reading or writing or hanging out with friends.

Role-play example (at least 50 words). Role-play as your character in any situation you want. Maya loved the rush she got when she flew. The wind in her face, the clench in her stomach when she took off at top speed and most importantly the fact that she forgot everything. When she was racing through the wispy clouds, flying out of eyesight of everyone, chasing the birds and listening to the the wind whistle past her ears she constantly had a smile plastered on her face. Flying was her outlet, nothing could replace the importance of it to her.[/color][/td]
