| It was hard to believe that it had been nearly a whole year since Freja turned up at the huge doors of the institute. While she had settled in so well she knew Durmstrang like the back of her hand, the time had flown so quickly, it didn't seem to make much sense that it was almost time for the summer holidays. She was really looking forward to going back to Malmö - she often missed her family, even though she'd seen them fairly recently in the winter holidays. It wouldn't be much warmer there than at Durmstrang, but it was summer, nonetheless, and she would be delighted to frolick in the fields with her siblings, and stuff her face with ice-cream. However she might miss Durmstrang a little bit, because she'd become so used to spending all the time here. She wouldn't miss the classes and homework and learning, though. Just the people and dorms and food and tea.
Having decided that she wanted to get away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the common room, Freja left to find herself a spot in the middle of the corridor, where she wouldn't be disturbed too much, with some string and a big box of colourful beads. She loved bracelet making. And the finished products never looked very good, but it was fun even so, and more interesting than boring homework or something. The best way to occupy herself other than sleeping or eating or having tea parties. Braiding some different coloured string into a pretty, neat pattern, she leaned against the wall and ignored the people walking past, concentrating on keeping her pattern right. | |
