| Here, in this thread, you will find the instructions to each potion we make, so that I won't have to write them up every single time there's a new class learning the same potion. Yeah! So, this is where you need to go to find the instructions and ingredients, so you won't have to look it up on pottermore or the harry potter wiki Except for some rare occasions…

| Cure for Boils, Beginner Ingredients: Snake fangs, horned slugs, porcupine quills 1. Add 6 snake fangs to the mortar. 2. Crush into a fine powder using the pestle. 3. Add 4 measures of the crushed fangs to your cauldron. 4. Heat the mixture to 250 for 10 seconds. 5. Stir 4 times anti clockwise 6. Leave to brew and return in 15 minutes. 7. Add 4 horned slugs to your cauldron. 8. Take the cauldron off the fire before adding the next ingredient. 9. Add 2 porcupine quills to your cauldron. 10. Stir 5 times, clockwise. 11. Put out the fire: your potion is complete. 12. Take a sample and give it to Prof. Henley

| Skele-gro, Advanced Process: 1: add two measures of standard mix 2: heat up to 200 degrees 3: add one puffer-fish 4: stir anticlockwise 7 times 5: add one puffer-fish 6: stir clockwise 19 times 7: add 2 Scarab Beetles 8: let it simmer for 5 minutes on 100 degrees(until it turns a dark green) 9: stir clockwise 22 times 10: add 1 Chinese Chomping Cabbage 11: turn the temperature down to 60 degrees 12: leave to rest for one hour This is as far as we go in this lesson Homework: 13: stir slowly anti clockwise 3 times 14: add one scarab beetle 15: heat up to 100 degrees 16: add the last puffer-fish 17: leave to rest for 45 minutes on 80 degrees 18: stir in a rushed manner anti clockwise 37 times 19: add 1 scarab beetle 20: stir calmly clockwise 16 times 21: add the last scarab beetle 22: leave to simmer for 7 minutes (not a second more!) 23: stir one time anti clockwise 24: turn off the temperature and take a sample. It should be a silver-white color

| Pepperup Potion, Medium Find one dose of standard ingredients, bicorn horn, mandrake root. 1. Crush the bicorn horn in a separate bowl into a soft and fine powder 2. Put one dose of standard ingredients into the cauldron 3. Heat the cauldron to 100 degrees 4. Let it simmer for fifteen minutes 5. In the meantime, cut up the mandrake root in seven perfect symmetrical pieces 6. When fifteen minutes have passed, add four of the pieces of the mandrake root 7. Stirr the cauldron five times anti-clockwise 8. Put two measures of bicorn horn powder into the cauldron 9. Stirr two times clockwise 10. Put the last three pieces of mandrake root into the cauldron 11. Stirr seven times clockwise 12. Let it simmer on a temperature of 90 degrees for ten minutes (until it turns a brownish red) 13. The potion is done (Take a sample and turn off the temperature)

| Antidote to Common Poisons, Beginner 1 bezoar, 2 measures of standard ingredient, 1 pinch of unicorn horn, 2 mistletoe berries. 1. Add 1 Bezoar to the mortar 2. Crush into a very fine powder using the pestle 3. Add 4 measures of the crushed Bezoar to your cauldron 4. Add 2 measures of Standard Ingredient to your cauldron 5.Heat to a medium temperature for 5 seconds 6. Stir one time anticlockwise 7. Leave to brew and return in 10 minutes with Pewter Cauldron, 7 minutes with Brass cauldron and 5 minutes with copper cauldron. 8. Add 1 pinch of Unicorn Horns to your cauldron 9. Stir 2 times, clockwise 10. Add 2 Mistletoe Berries to your cauldron 11. Stir 2 times, anti-clockwise 12. Turn off the heat and take a sample

| Draught of Peace, Advanced Powdered moonstone, syrup of hellebore, powdered unicorn horn 1. Add powdered moonstone until the potion turns green. 2. Stir until the potion turns blue. 3. Add powdered moonstone until the potion turns purple. 4. Allow to simmer until the potion turns pink. 5. Add a small amount of syrup of hellebore until the potion turns turquoise. 6. Allow to simmer until the potion turns purple. 7. Place powdered unicorn horn in mortar and drip two drops of syrup of hellebore into the mix. Crush them together so there is no seperation between the ingredients. 8. Stir until the potion turns orange. 9. Add more powdered moonstone until the potion turns turquoise. 10. Allow to simmer till the potion turns purple. 11. Add the mix in your mortar to the cauldron until the potion turns pink. 12. Stir until the potion turns red. 13. Allow to simmer until the potion turns purple. 14. Add more five drops of syrup of hellebore and the potion should turn grey. 15. Allow the potion to simmer until it turns orange. 16. Add more of the mixture in the mortar until the potion turns white. 17. Turn off heat and take a sample.

| Elixir to Induce Euphoria, Medium Shrivelfig, Porcupine Quills, Peppermint Sprigs, Sopophorous beans, wormwood 1. Add Shrivelfig 2. Add Porcupine quills until the potion turns orange 3. Stir four times anti-clockwise and leave to simmer for three minutes 4. Add a sprig of Peppermint to counteract side-effects 5. Add the Sopophorous beans 6. Add Wormwood 7. Stir six times clockwise. Your potion should now be an icy blue. 8. Turn off heat and take sample

| Polyjuice Potion, Advanced Lacewing flies, Leeches, powdered bicorn horn, knotgrass, fluxweed (picked at full-moon), shredded boomslang skin, a bit of the person you want to turn into. Part 1 1.Add three measures of fluxweed to the cauldron (must be picked on a full moon). 2.Add two bundles of knotgrass to the cauldron. 3.Stir three times, clockwise. 4. Let potion brew for 20 minutes (for a Pewter Cauldron. A Brass Cauldron will only require 15, and a copper one only 10.) 5. Add four leeches to the cauldron. 6. Add two scoops of lacewing flies to the mortar, crush to a fine powder, then add two measures of the crushed lacewings to the cauldron. 7. Heat for thirty seconds on a low heat. 8. Turn heat down, take sample and deliver to the professor. Part 2 Anytime after brewing the first stage above, make the following additions: 1. Add three measures of boomslang skin to the cauldron. 2. Add one measure of bicorn horn to the mortar, crush to a fine powder, then add one measure of the crushed horn to the cauldron. 3. Heat for twenty seconds at a high temperature. 4. Wave your wand then let potion brew for twenty-four hours 5. Add one additional scoop of lacewings to the cauldron. 6. Stir three times, anti-clockwise. 7. Split potion into multiple doses, if desired, then add the pieces of the person you wish to become. 8. Turn off heat and take sample to professor. The potion is now done. | |

Ashwinder egg, scope of Moonstone powder, 7 rose thorns, pinch of dried peppermint, 4 petals of the Belladonna flower
1. Put in a pinch of dried peppermint 2. Stir anti-clockwise 6 times 3. Heat up to boiling point. 4. Leave it boiling for 54 seconds 5. Lower heat to 81 degrees Celsius 6. Put in 2 rose thorns and 1 petal of the Belladonna flower. Note; this must be done at the same time. If the thorns hit the water before the petal, the potion will turn blue. If so, add a drop of Honeywater to settle the potion back to a white simmer. Continue on to step 7 7. Stir a ninth of a turn clockwise 8. Add the Ashwinder egg 9. Stir clockwise until potion turns a soft orange 10. Add 4 rose thorns 11. Lower heat to 50 degrees Celsius and leave to simmer for nine minutes 12. Add the last 3 petals of the Belladonna flower. 13. Add one scope of crushed Moonstone powder 14. Leave for two minutes and thirty-five seconds 15. Add the last Rose thorn and heat up to 100 degrees Celsius 16. Let it boil until it turns to a distinctive mother-of-pearls sheen and steam rises from it in characteristic spirals. 17. Turn off the heat and take a sample | |
