Trains (Open)

Phoenix was oddly excited about becoming a grandfather now that he let the news sink in. He realized that having Ryland back in his life meant more to him than anything, and would rather he be here in this situation than not at all. Which is why he figured he would get the baby boy a little something from his grandfather. Phoenix smiled at the word. Grandfather. It had a nice ring to it. And suddenly, PHOENIX felt like thanking Ryland for not only bringing himself back into his life, but the baby as well. It was like getting double the presents on a regular day and not a holiday.

It was one of those rare days when PHOENIX had the day off. Normally, he would spend the day sitting at home doing paper work, and drinking firewhiskey, but he figured that he should prepare the little tyke a room in his house for when he came to visit. Since all the kids had moved out now, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to turn either Lucy or Rylands room into a nursery. So, he decided to go to the worlds largest toy store in the muggle part of London. He normally didn't associate with muggles, but today felt necessary.

He looked around at all the toys and decided that the boy would have a train themed room. So, he went around the store and picked out train themed items. He ignored all the children and the obnoxious noises going around him. It made him a little bit more comfortable to be in this public of a setting. He then started looking at a train set. Once the boy was older, maybe it would go to Hogwarts and ride the Hogwarts express, and PHOENIX would tell him all about it. The train ride was Phoenixes favorite part about going to Hogwarts. The food was the second.

And as he sat there staring at the train set, he started thinking back about the times when he would take Lucy and Ryland to Hogwarts, Ne the times when he went as well. He hoped his grand son got to share the same experiences as him, and that he would get the chance to tell him about his experiences.
