To Befriend a Human (Sary)

Mustachio was bored, and he was lonely. He was the only unicorn left in the Forbidden Forest, and he ached for the company of one of his kin. Many days he had spent pondering the likelihood of him leaving the forest, leaving for good. He could journey to another place, where he would find company in others of his species. But he always decided against the venture. He was getting older now and he realised a long journey with the vague hope of finding a new magical forest was unlikely to be successful for him. It was sad, but he had to think practically. So he stayed, stayed in the place that he knew. The dangers here had proved to be no match for him, now that he had learned how to deal with them. So he was perfectly safe, just lonely.

Even female human company would be appreciated. The redhead human and her friends who had saved his life. His favourite human ever, the beautiful female with the raven hair. She had never returned, perhaps because she had left her home in the castle, or because she cared no longer for the beautiful, pure white unicorn. The later option was highly unlikely, however. He was sure that one day he would meet her again, even if it meant he had to journey far from here. One day he would work up the courage, when this place got too much for him to bear.

That day, he was near the edge of the forest, near where the occasional human passed by, grazing on a little patch of grass underneath a shaded tree. And he heard the tiniest, softest ruffle of grass. He wasn’t certain what it was - the sound was difficult to distinguish. Out of curiosity, he took a couple of silent steps towards the sound, ready to turn and sprint away if it proved to be a predator, or anything dangerous. Finally - a potential adventure. Not just grazing on grass and leaves and lying in the sun. Something slightly interesting, for once.

So, Saryana was really bored. The librarian still had a ban for her entering. What sucked was that it wasn't because she was being disruptive or such but because she actually wanted to study and help at the library. But because the librarian didn't want her always being there she sent her off and banned her with the words that she should meet more people and talk and such. Not that the girl cared so much - give her food and a life time in a library, she would be the happiest person in the world. Even if it meant she shouldn't see any people during that time.

Now that she couldn't be at the library, she decided to go do something else. At the end she stopped on what she did last ear - walk around he Forbidden Forest. Well, than she hunted but now she was finally over that. All the girl was going to do was see if her bow that the Room of Requirement gave her was still buried in the same place as than. And after that have a quick walk. She won't go in too much and if somehow the girl was found, Saryana would just say she's searching for her backpack or such.

After ten minutes of planning, the girl dressed herself with jeans, a t - shirt and a jacket, than ran down the stairs and out into the open. This will be nice! Maybe she should have fun more... But the girl quickly pushed that thought away - Merlins Beard, she had ambitions which were planned to work out. No, this will be her only time out... Right? First she went to see for her bow - it was still there. But instead of taking it out like before, the girl quickly covered it up. And than she heard some noise - what was that? She quickly stood up and walked to investigate. Something out there was moving... Would it attack her? Hopefully not! Best she gets a glimpse of what is was... And than the girl noticed it. Woah! It was a unicorn! A real live unicorn! Amazing! Was it real? Of course it was! But wow, how beautiful it looked... It was so white. So awesome...
