| Danny plopped onto the couch after a long day of school and studying. He was super tired, but he couldnt sleep because of all the noise the other boys were making.
He wanted to just yell at the to shut up and be quiet, but that would be rude. Plus, most of the other boys were older than him, so they could just beat him up if they wanted to. He sighed and put his face into the couch in hopes of blocking out the sound, but that just appeared to make them be louder if nothing else.
He groaned and got up and glared at the other boys who just ignored him. He was used to the being ignored part, but this was getting out of hand, "OI! Can you all bloody keep it down? Some of us actually want to sleep here!" uh oh. He would regret that.

| When Hunter finally returned to Gryffindor Tower after spending some extra time working on a potion - a legal one, this time, which he could work on in the actual potion's classroom - the common room was already filled with students. Some studying, some chatting in small groups here and there - but in general, it was a relaxed, happy atmosphere. Something that Hunter couldn't exactly contribute to, but that didn't mean he couldn't appreciate the warmth of the atmosphere. It was a contrast to the cold loneliness that was waiting for him outside, if he chose to retreat to his tree by the lake. And before, he might have. But now, having Ariel back in his life, he was realizing that it couldn't always be his answer - even if most of the time, it still was.
Seeing a few of his friends hanging on the good couches by the fire - which Hunter could occupy whenever he wanted now, since he was a fifth year - he sank into one of the armchairs near them and gave them a brief, tight smile. He wasn't in the mood to talk - he rarely was. But listening to his friends occupied his mind enough to keep it from wandering. He'd been sitting there for some time when, out of nowhere, a voice to his left caused him to turn his head. Someone was angry that there was too much noise. Looking around for the git, Hunter was surprised that his eyes landed on a first year kid that he hadn't noticed before, lounging on the couch nearest to him.
A bit surprised that a first year had been bold enough to complain to the entire common room - or, more likely, stupid enough - Hunter turned slightly so that he was facing the kid. "If it's too loud for you, go upstairs," Hunter informed him simply, giving the kid an irritated look. "This is the common room. It's where people come to hang out, not to sleep." Honestly, why were first years so stupid?

| Danny was annoyed with the whole situation. He was so pissed off at it all. he just wanted to go lie down, but he didnt want to be alone in the Dorms. He would have been fine after saaying what he wanted to say to the others, but someone just had to bloody reply. He was guessing a fourth or fifth year since he was sitting on the good couches. He groaned and rolled his eyes, "Whatever mate." He wasnt in the mood for this. He was confused as ever about a lot of shit going on in his life and just wanted his head to stop spinning | |
