| Nothing was worse than Hogsmeade when the streets were full with Hogwarts students, Amy decided. Quite obviously it was not the best time for her to think that lunch out would be a good idea. But she was there already, and she saw no point in leaving. As she entered the Three Broomsticks, she had to squeeze her way through the mass of young people that had gathered in the welcoming inn.
To her surprise, she managed to come across an empty table and as she ordered her meal she kept her eye on it. Once glance away, and it would be lost. Once her food was served, she moved as swiftly as she could manage through the crowd and to the deserted table. It was clean, thankfully, and Amy rested her plate of salad and glass of lemonade on the wooden surface.
Any other time that she had been in the pub had been when she was a Hogwarts student herself, and she felt the smallest feeling of guilt arise in her at what a bother she and her friends must have been back then. The woman had just started her meal when another person seemed to have noticed the empty seats at her table. |

| It was a Hogsmeade weekend, which meant third years allowed to go there. And, being the Head of Gryffindor, Lucia had an obligation to go. She didn't mind. It was nice to leave behind the dank and gloom of the Potions office. She wrote down all the names of the people going, and they were soon being escorted to town with the carriages and thestrals. As soon as Lucia's carriage stopped, she got out and looked at the students. One look was enough, saying only one thing: Behave. She knew they would. They knew the consequences.
So Lucia made her way towards a place to relax. Being a big fan of buzzing life, Lucia walked into the Three Broomticks. Okay, a fan of life. But she'd also like a place to sit. She looked around for a moment, and then saw a table with a lone woman sitting by it. Maybe she wouldn't mind? So Lucia walked over and gave the woman one of her best smiles. "Do you mind if I sit here?" Lucia asked; she herself wouldn't mind learning to know more people.
The woman looked a few years younger than Lucia herself. She also looked pretty friendly. Hopefully, Lucia wasn't wrong. | |
