| Jen had finally finished a very busy day of delving into mysterious Unspeakable stuff. It had been fun and exciting, but she was exhausted now and she hadn't eaten all day. She didn't like breakfast. And she had only just realised she hadn't stopped for lunch, but now she was hungry. Before now, she hadn't eaten in the cafe in the Atrium before, only bought coffee, but it would be an experience.
At Hogwarts, nobody bothered her and she was fine. However here, where she was a mere, unimportant assistant, it was almost intimidating being surrounded by a load of official, adult businesspeople. There were very few people she knew. Earlier on she'd caught a glimpse of Lucy, who apparently was now an auror, and Jeremy. But she didn't notice Jennifer and he was a big important minister person, so she didn't talk to either of them.
After quickly buying a salad and some water, Jen picked them up and made her way to a table in the corner. She hated eating in front of other people, it was horrible. And she felt fat and greedy. Even if it was salad and water. This thread is closed to Genevieve Decelle.

| The Ministry of Magic seemed to be filling up even more now that most Hogwarts students have chosen a Ministry job. Lots of trainees and interns around. Genevieve hardly ever ate in the Cafe anymore because of that, it was usually full. It wasn't a bad thing, in fact it was really great, because their minds were still young and creative and they came up with great ideas for difficult situations. She doubted she could do that anymore. She wasn't as young anymore. Sighing, Genevieve closed her office for the day and headed towards the Cafe, hoping to take something as a take-out and go eat it at home.
The Cafe was surprisingly empty, though. Genevieve went for a single doughnut and hot chocolate and wandered off towards the back of the Munchies Cafe, where she usually sat. She felt like chocolate today. As she was almost at her table, Genevieve felt herself bump into someone else she didn't see. "Oh my goodness! Je suis désolé, I am so sorry!" she exclaimed and, realizing that her French was slipping out, looked up at the person. It was a young blonde, probably one of those new employees. She hoped that she hadn't done any damage to the girl's food, even though her own cup of hot chocolate was on the floor. |

| Upon being rudely bumped into, Jen held back a girlish squeak and scowled at the blonde woman who'd done it. She didn't want to make herself seem childish and stupid so she looked down and took a deep breath. "It's fine," she muttered through gritted teeth. At least only a speck of hot chocolate got onto her dress.
Jennifer imagined this woman holding quite a high position here, since she was French and stylish and sophisticated. Those factors combined made a pretty amazing woman. She did look vaguely familiar actually, but the girl obviously hadn't cared enough to remember her when she had seen her.
"Uh...I'm Jennifer Moss," she said, holding out her hand to shake and trying to smile politely. "Unspeakable." Assistant Unspeakable, but that was less impressive so she didn't mention it. Clearly she had the talent to hold the full job, just not the experience.

| The girl looked really annoyed, but Genevieve didn't want to push it further. She'd already apologized, so if the young blonde hated her, it wasn't her problem. But she still felt rude for not watching where she was going, so she quickly whipped out her wand from her blazer's inner pocket and waved it at the speck of hot chocolate on the girl's dress. Of course, Genevieve was a genius at magic so the girl's dress looked as good as new without her saying anything aloud. In fact, she laughed when some trained wizards in the Ministry weren't good at non-verbal spells. Genevieve was so used to those kind of spells that she considered them perfectly and completely normal.
Then the girl held out her hand and introduced herself as Jennifer Moss an Unspeakable. Genevieve smiled back at her and took her hand. The job sounded cool, she'd heard of Unspeakables but nobody ever knew what they actually did, since they weren't allowed to speak about it. She suspected that that was where the 'Unspeakable' part came from. Of course, she also suspected that the girl, Jennifer, wasn't a full Unspeakable yet as she was still so young. She was probably still an assistant or trainee or something.
"Genevieve Decelle," she said as she shook it. "Department of International Magical Co-Operation." She didn't mention that she was Head of the department, it was too of a long thing to say. Still, she was used to saying that as an introduction, since she met new people for a living. Like Ministers. And they all said that she was a pretty cool Head of Department. None of the Ministers she'd met had ever used the word 'cool', though, it was only a manner of speech. "It is good to meet you, Jennifer," Genevieve added, so maybe she didn't sound rude or anything. She wasn't really worried about that, though.
"You must be one of those 'Ogwarts students, yes?" she decided to ask. By 'one of those Hogwarts students' she hadn't meant anything offensive, just if she was one of those new employees from Hogwarts. She was curious, though. She hadn't been educated at Hogwarts, maybe Jennifer could tell her all about it. |

| Before she could do anything herself, the woman, who was apparently named Genevieve, had fixed it for her. There was really no need. Jen was perfectly capable of simple magic like that and she could have done it herself. So maybe her non-verbal magic wasn't perfect yet, but it was very advanced considering she'd only recently started learning it. She could have definitely performed Genevieve's spell non-verbally. "Thank you," she said anyway, a small smile on her face. Not a real one, obviously.
"Oh? What's your position?" she asked. International Co-operation sounded interesting. Jennifer wasn't planning on getting a new job or anything but she was curious as to what went on between the British Ministry and those of other countries. But whatever her job was, it wouldn't be as cool as Unspeakable.
She nodded politely. "Pleasure to meet you." It was, in a way, because she was meeting someone new who might be a useful connection to have in the future. It depended. "I just graduated, if that's what you mean," she said, quickly understanding what the woman meant by her odd little statement.
