Difficult Decisions (Genevieve)

It was cold, it was pouring down with rain and it was fairly late on a Tuesday afternoon, but Damien didn't mind that. It meant that Diagon Alley was also fairly quiet. If he wanted a trip into London to buy himself a new owl, it was a pretty good time to go and do so. His previous owl had died of old age so he was eager to obtain a new one as soon as he could. They were extremely useful. As method of communication, obviously. Not pets.

Trying to draw as little attention to himself as he could, he walked quickly along the street and it wasn't long before he reached the owl emporium. When he got there, Damien was rather surprised at the difficulty he found in choosing a strong, suitable owl. It wasn't like it mattered much. But this animal needed to be perfect.
