| Anya was at a dilemma. Her mother had asked her a serious question, and she didn't know how to take it. It would involve transferring schools, and traveling far away from CeCe. And she didn't know how to deal with it. And when she was stressed, since she wasn't a fully developed seer, her visions were fuzzy, and she couldn't tell what she was going to do tomorrow, or next year. Which was frustrating. Here she was trying to gain control of her powers, and this was preventing her from doing so. She had written CeCe several times, but hadn't gotten a reply back. She would only go if her she said she could. She had just met CeCe, and didn't want to strain the relationship that they currently had. They barley saw each other as it is, and wondered what that would do if she just got up and left.
It was getting around the time that her mother said they would be leaving, and she needed a decision right away. Anya hated making life changing decisions. And the fact that she hadn't seen what decision she would make, made her even more anxious. She didn't tell her mother about her powers yet, so she couldn't confide in her about how she felt. Which made her sad. She was scared that if she told her mother about her powers, her mother would be afraid of her considering she was a muggle. Before Anya had become a witch, she and her mother had so much in common, and being a witch simply drove them apart. But her mother had met somebody. She was happy for her mother, but her mother wanted to go with him to France. If she stayed, her mother would let her stay with a family friend that they trusted with their whole hearts and souls.
Either way, the decision she made meant leaving somebody behind that she cared about so much. And she didn't like that one bit. If CeCe would move to France with them, that would be cool. She'd go with her mother in a heart beat if that was the case. But alas, it wasn't. CeCe was really busy during the summer, and there was no way that could happen. So as Anya lay in bed, trying to see if she could see her decision, she found that she couldn't. She sighed, and had made up her mind. Her mother was the most important thing in the world to her. Their relationship had been strained since she found out about CeCe. She went over to her mother and asked, "When should I start packing?" Her mother squealed and hugged her. She knew it had been a hard decision. She went to the owl stand and wrote CeCe her decision. And signed it xoxo, Anya.
