| Tessa walked into the Hogs Head and her mouth watered. She was totally starving. She had just gotten off work and had a craving for fish and chips. The place was completely full. After she ordered her meal, she somehow managed to find an empty booth in the back corner. She quickly ran for it, but someone else got there before her. "Hey!" | |

| Her outfit because I'm bored.Oh, what a day it was at work! Genevieve was exhausted, like always, and decided that she needed a little drink before the weekend. That Saturday would be her day off, and she planned on spending it sleeping in and being lazy. If someone from the department didn't owl her more work to do. She needed a break. And quiet. Her head was aching, especially with all five languages she knew and practised from time to time. Due to that- Genevieve decided to head to The Hog's Head, which was usually deserted and full of silence. When work was over, she exited the Ministry of Magic and apparated to the small pub in Hogsmeade. The unfortunate thing was, it was packed. She frowned as she entered- since when did this place get customers? Like, ever? Oh, well, she didn't feel like going somewhere else now. Maybe the Three Broomsticks was having a great day so most customers came here. Yeah, probably, she thought as she walked over to order a drink. After paying three sickles for a Butterbeer, which was another thing she liked about this place except for the silence- it was super cheap, Genevieve spotted a booth at the back and walked over to it quickly. She had just sat down when a woman, really young, snapped at her. Genevieve looked up, annoyed. Couldn't she just have a drink by herself? " Can I help you?" she asked the dark-haired girl, raising her eyebrows. |

| "I was sitting here. Do you mind?" Tessa snapped. She just wanted to eat her food and go home to Aidan. “So if you would just…” She made a gesture with her hands telling the girl to move. She smiled smugly and cocked her head. | |

| The dark-haired girl was clearly younger than Genevieve. She's- what, 18, 19? she thought. Probably recently graduated from that Hogwarts school up the road. She'd have thought that younger people like her knew manners, or at least how to not get on older people's nerves because this girl was being rudely mean about 'sitting here'. Apparently, Genevieve had to move because the girl was even gesturing at her to leave. I'm twenty-seven for god's sake! she thought to herself. What is up with ze rudeness in ze people zese days? The girl sounded spoilt, if not rude, and Genevieve decided that she didn't like her. She got to the seat first, and that was that. If the girl was going to be rude, Genevieve wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of giving in.
"I'm sorry, but ze last time I checked, I sat 'ere first," she replied stubbornly and confidently. "And I don't remember you being here." She frowned, realizing that she probably came off as a bit rude and said, "I bet zere are plenty more seats are 'ere, too. So if you could just..." Copying the girl's earlier gestures, Vivi did a kind of wave with her hand that clearly meant 'you can leave'. And then Genevieve took a sip of her butterbeer. Oh, but the girl did a stupid smile and was acting like she owned the place! She ignored her, took out a book from her bag and started to read- pretending that the rude younger person was not there. |

| “Yeah, actually you’re wrong. Theres nowhere else to sit.” She stepped aside to show the girl what she was talking about. The girl was really rude, because she just started reading a book and ignoring Tessa. Tessa smirked and pushed the book down, “Look princess, either you move and I sit here. Or we share. Those are your only choices. No high way options.” She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow to show she meant business and was not leaving. | |

| The girl clearly wasn't giving up. As she moved aside to show her that there weren't any seats left, Genevieve did a sarcastic sad-face. "Not my problem," she replied. "Take ze food as a take-out and go eat it at 'ome with your boyfriend or some-zing." Like she cared. I got 'ere first, even if ze girl saw it first or not. Genevieve thought- this girl was clearly getting on her nerves. She was taking some more Butterbeer and reading some more from her Arabic book when the girl pushed the book down. Genevieve almost choked on the Butterbeer, so she quickly set it back down on the table and looked up on the smirking girl. "If I am ze princess, doesn't zat mean zat I have a 'igher authority zan you do?" Genevieve retorted, not even stumbling on her words. Her tone was very angry and serious, the kind she used when her workers made a big mistake that should never be made or something
"Zere's also an option where you leave and let me enjoy my evening," Genevieve said, fake smiling- that smile where it is very obvious that you shouldn't mess with her. "I would move over and let you share ze booth with me, but I fairly dislike sharing booths with rude bitches. Ever 'eard of ze expression finders keepers? I got here first, so I keep it." She smirked and then lifted her book up again so she could read clearly. Her break was very well-earned and she wasn't about to let a rude eighteen-year old rule her life. |

| Tessa had had enough. She was starving and her food was getting cold. "Look, I'm sorry. I'm just starving adn I wanna get home soon. Would you mind sharing the booth?" She put on her best fake smile. | |

| She clearly isn't sorry, Genevieve thought at the girl's next words. Looking up, the older lady replied with a firm, "No. Go eat ze food at your 'ome. Ever 'eard of apparation?" The girl was even fake-smiling to kiss up to her. She wasn't going to seem like she gave up easily. And anyway, the girl was too bitchy for her likes. It annoyed Genevieve, when all she wanted was peace and quiet. The younger girl acted like she ruled the world and like everything revolved around her, which was stupid. She could at least notice that she was talking to a proper adult before bugging them! Not even Vivi would do that- and she was bitchy a few times. Genevieve looked back down to her book without further notice and continued to drink her Butterbeer. |

| Finally another spot became available. Right next to the girl. She grabbed it quickly before anyone else could and sat down. She noticed the girl was reading a book, "Whatcha reading?" She was genuinely trying to be nice now to make up for her bitchiness before. | |

| Luckily, the dark-haired girl seemed to fall quiet. Genevieve didn't question it- maybe she could actually read her book without choking on her Butterbeer. Her mug was about half empty now, anyway, so she didn't have as much time left in the place. Suddenly, a voice came from behind her, and Genevieve jumped. She looked around in shock and saw the girl from before asking her what she was reading. Oh, what does she want now? she thought to herself, annoyed. Probably wanting to rub it in her face that she found a seat now. Genevieve was compelled to just ignore the girl, but instead simply replied with, "A book." and turned away. She leaned her back against the seat and continued reading, hoping that the girl got the hint and left her alone. |

| "Well no duh. What book?" She wondered if the girl was just rude or stupid. Either way, Tessa was ready to just say screw it and give up on being nice. She tried to see the cover of her book but couldnt. | |

| Her Butterbeer mug was almost empty. Until then, Genevieve couldn't leave or she'd most probably give the impression that she was ruder than she already had been. But the girl wouldn't stop pestering her. Looking around, she saw the younger girl trying to see the front cover of the book. "Don't bother trying to read it," she snapped, frustrated. "Eet's in Arabic." She sat down comfortably again and continued reading the book. She was clearly telling this girl to back off and leave her alone, but what was wrong with her?! Genevieve almost let out a groan as she waited for the girl to leave her alone. Her Butterbeer mug didn't have much left in it. |

| At her last comment, the dark-haired girl seemed to have gotten the hint because she didn't utter another word to her. Genevieve didn't push it and continued drinking and reading, until she heard some noise and looked up. The younger girl had finished her meal, apparently, and was storming out of the Hog's Head. Good riddance, she thought. I do 'ope she doesn't work at ze Ministry. If she did... She shivered a tiny bit. She couldn't imagine how anyone could put up with that woman. Finishing her Butterbeer, Genevieve packed her things and walked out of the Hog's Head. Well, zat was a pleasent evening, she thought sarcastically as she walked down the road outside. Then she apparated home. |
