Nothing looked different than a normal classroom. No cushions, no vases, no boxes. Professor Fenech stood behind her desk, watching the students enter the classroom and take their seats. When everyone was settled, she flicked her wand and writing appeared on the board, "The Summoning Charm". "Your homework was to read about it," Ylenia said. "So can anyone give me a quick summary on what the spell is about?"

Auden raised her hand. "The Summoning Charm is a charm that causes and object at a distance front the caster to fly into his/her arms. It can't be used on buildings and not on most living things. Also the further the object is the harder it is to summon. The incantation is Accio." Auden said.

"Yes, Miss Mayer," Ylenia said. "That is correct. Five points to Ravenclaw." Then she turned to the class and said, "I will build up on what Auden has said. The spell's incantation is Accio, yes. The name of the object can follow the spell word; for example, Accio Quill, to summon your quill. It seems that is an aid to concentration, as the spell-caster should be concentrating hard on the object being summoned. Yet the famous Mrs. Molly Weasley has once used the unadorned Accio to relieve Fred and George Weasley of their prank things, which shows us that naming the object being Summoned is not always necessary." She paused for a moment, before saying, "Despite its apparent simplicity, the Summoning charm is fairly complex. You need concentration, and a lot of that, determination, effort. So do not be upset if you do not get it on the first few tries. Many wizards have trouble when they are learning the spell."

"And today we will be attempting the spell," Professor Fenech said. She took out her wand and said, "Accio Quills!" Suddenly, all of the students' quills flew towards her and she caught them all in her hand, then put them on her desk. "You will all be summoning back your quills. Just say Accio Quill and concentrate hard on your quill. If you manage, your quill will be coming straight at you. If you need any help, just call me. You can begin."
