| Cassandra tapped her foot impatiently as she stood outside the door to Professor Vega's office. At least the CoMC professor hadn't taken away any points from Gryffindor for her failure, right? She hadn't been sure whether she was supposed to bring her books and materials or not, so Cassandra had brought them anyway. After all, better safe than sorry. She guessed that the professor would tell her that she needed to study more and do better in the class, but really, Cassandra had never been good with animals. Care of Magical Creatures definitely was one of her weak points, and it always had been.
She decided to knock again after a few minutes went by with no reply. She raised her hand to the door and dropped the knocker three times, which was probably over doing it, but she wanted to make sure the professor knew she was there. What was taking so long? After waiting for a little longer, Cassandra pulled out a book on phoenixes for the next class, so she wouldn't embarrass herself any further like she had done with that hippogriff lesson.
After trying for about a minute to process and understand what the book was saying, she conceded that CoMC definitely was not a good choice to have taken. In fact, she would've avoided it had it not been an important subject to have taken in the eyes of many employers and such. So if Cassandra wanted to get a job, she might have to take CoMC, and better to fail at it now than in 5th Year OWLs was her understanding. And in the very least, maybe Professor Vega could help her with the material. Cassandra supposed that she'd have to schedule an appointment sometimes next week to discuss tutoring or something like that... |

| Selene opened her door after a few knocks, probably be Cassandra Periwinkle. She had asked the girl to meet her at her office after class, and the girl had come just in time. "Cassandra, please come in." She said as the door closed itself behind the girl.
Taking a seat at her desk, Selene motioned for the girl to do the same. "I saw your performance in class. Very nice. Though I wish to talk to you about patience." Selene looked at the girl, half expecting her to become angry. | |
