The New Minister

"You're welcome, minister." Richard replied, standing up. "Oh, there's one more thing. We would like to accompany your interview with a picture. Would you mind taking it now? We figured your new office would be the most adequate decor, as it symbolizes your position. Our cameraman should be here by now. I know you must have important things to do, but I promise it will only take a few minutes."

"Okay, I'll just get him then." Richard added, heading for the door. "Bozo" he called, and a paunchy old man walked in, holding a large black camera. "Minister, just sit at your desk and look confident and determined." Richard instructed, while the photographer was positioning his device on a tripod in the center of the room with difficulty. "Ready?" he asked, placing a hood over himself and the voluptuous box. A loud clicking noise followed and the device started slightly smoking.

"Bozo, you haven't taken the lid off." Richard remarked with an exasperated tone. "Oh right, I'm sorry." the old man replied, visibly embarrassed. Richard directed an apologetic glance at the minister while the photographer was getting ready to take another picture, this time one that would actually be worth something. The sound was heard again, followed by a volute of smoke. "One more." Richard told his colleague, knowing that there was a chance this one would be blurry due to the old man's shaky hands.

The photographer complied, and then started packing his heavy camera. "Thank you again, minister." Richard added, turning towards mister Rufford. "I wish you a very pleasant day."
