Not As It Seems (Freddie)

Lena had been having a hard day. Durmstrang wasn't as easy as she thought it would be. She had planned on everyone fawning and loving her, but so far that hadn't been the case. Older students weren't as pleasing, and the ship was huge, so she hadn't met any kids her age yet. Sure she saw them in class, but they all ran away from her as soon as class was done. She didn't talk much to her dorm mates because she didn't deem them worthy of her presence. So, safe to say that Lena was miserable, and she wanted to go home. Which was weird because home was supposed to be worse than this place.

This place was supposed to be better than home. It was supposed to be a place were she found friends, maybe even a true love (when she was old enough of course), but in fact, Lena had achieved none of those things in her short time at Durmstrang. She had heard fantastic stories, and was excited to maybe have the same adventures. But so far, Lena had none. She was so focused on her studies and achieving high marks in all of her classes, that she forgot about the fun. And so far, half of the term was wasted on that. If she were to start an adventure now, she wouldn't get it done before term was over.

Lena slouched down in her chair and took an apple from the bowl in the middle. The only thing she had so far enjoyed was the food. It was way better than what the servants at her grandparent's mansion served. She found herself packing on more pounds, and ate what ever she wanted. She liked to run, so to make up for the pounds she was gaining, she was running in her free time. Lena was about as done with this place as she was with her "family". She couldn't help but wonder if this place wasn't up to her expectations, would any place be?
