| It wasn't unusual for Calvin to go several days without talking to or even seeing his brother. They each had their own lives, despite their closeness. Last time Calvin spoke to Corvin, he'd been talking to some chick. Calvin slapped him on the shoulder, like a proud brother. He'd either keep her, or ditch her, but the way he spoke of her, he'd probably be with her a long time. Calvin was happy that Corvin was happy. It kinda saddened him that there wasn't any cute girls for him, but that was nothing a good book couldn't fix.
At the moment, Calvin was tied up in this book called Divergent. He was nestled up in the Quidditch stands. It seemed like they never had any teams out here practicing, which made him think they didn't have anyone interested in playing. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful day and he wanted to be outside reading. The breeze was cool and counteracted the blazing sun and in the distance he could hear the waves of the ocean crashing on the shore. The smell of an ocean was an amazing, overpowering smell that he couldn't describe.
It pissed him off when a shadow covered his reading. Was it really necessary to bug him right now? Angrily, he slammed the book shut and got ready to tell a piece of mind to whoever it was that interrupted, until he turned face to face with himself. "Calvin!" he exclaimed. "What's up bro?" |
