A COUPLE SUGGESTIONS

-A university. Having a university and Hogwarts might give more role playing opportunities, and give the graduating characters something to do instead of them going inactive (Which has been happening). I know different schools didn't help in the past, but with the character limit, nobody could make a new character, this way, we can use our own characters, and develop them more.

-Writing prompts. I've seen this on a couple sites (HAB being one of them), just pick two different situations and we write our characters in said situation, and an admin picks a winner. (Jake gave me this idea)

-Classes. We don't use them. I suggest having a posting rule. Like three posts class, and if one doesn't post in the classes, then they get held back a year, or if the professor doesn't post a lesson, then they loose their position. It seems pointless to have people singing up for positions and then nobody replies to the lessons. If there was a rule that was enforced, maybe we could get the classes more active.

-Plot. WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON HERE?

-Character of the month. Can we bring this back please?

These are just suggestions. You can choose to ignore them if you wish, but I just hate the inactivity that's going on currently so I'm trying to help with ways to bring it back.

I agree with most if not all of these because I'd really like to not see this site die out.

All of the ideas are good! Especially with the plot thing.

Though for the class thing, we also should have teachers who post classes because I'm not sure of there were much classes before. It would be had to post in three classes when there is no where to post (and even if there are three, sometimes it could be out of character for some character to pick one such as a hard core pure blood, so to speak, going to Muggle Studies. Or someone logical to pick Divination.) Maybe there should be something for the teachers themselves as well.

As for the university, a problem could turn up with teacher. With most of them at Hogwarts, who would teach at the university? Of course, I guess it's not mandatory for them to be going to classes though it does take away a reason for exactly a university. Maybe teachers from Hogwarts could go to that school as well?

Fully agree on the character prompt thing and on the character of the month.

I do agree with the idea of the university but like Sary said, if we can't keep teachers active at Hogwarts who's going to teach there?

I miss character of the month a lot let's bring back that. And didn't there used to be some other awards as well (eg for teachers, users, whatever)? Maybe reintroduce them?

I think Jo was talking about a University like at HAB. No teachers, just a forum and a name colour so you can post and all with other "University" students.

But like i said, if there were rules enforced on the classes and lessons, like each teacher character has to post at least twice in their lesson, then we wouldn't have a problem with knowing which classes where up and which weren't. And if each character posted to three classes, then that would ensure they would be active. Maybe they could try it out at Hogwarts first to see if it works and then build up the university.

Oh well then we'd definitely have to start with getting people active and getting Hogwarts taken care of before thinking University or it'll be like Beauxbaxton's and Durmstrang all over again.

No really, I do! We're considering these suggestions, and most of them might work really well. I kinda like the idea of an academy, but we'd have to discuss some on this. Let me know what you think might work with an academy, and what kind of academy you have in mind.

Jett and I are working on something right now that'll help the site a lot, and if you guys could hold on until that point, we'd really appreciate it, everyone! It'll hopefully be around the start of May, my last exam is the 5th of May, then my summer break starts, I'll have no obligations except to you all, so you'd have most of my time! (apart from work). Anyway, we'll let you know more about it when we're near to the finish line!
