Lucas' First Birthday (Open to family/friends)

Elita begin setting up for her son's birthday party. It wasn't quite his birthday yet, but it was the only time Elita had free time. Usually, she was home grading papers, cooking and looking after Lucas, when she wasn't, she was teaching. She loved her job, she loved her son and she loved Ryland, but she was happy to be alone for the moment, well as alone as possible. Lucas was in his stroller, asleep. He wore his special onesie that came with a diaper cover, hat and tie, however she had not put those on him yet.

Elita had decided on a turtle theme. She had found the cutest cake and decorations. She didn't need to decorate much, the castle provided enough decoration. What other child was lucky enough to have their party next to a castle? There wasn't going to be many guests, mostly just family and maybe a few family friends, but it would still be great. Elita had professional pictures taken of Lucas not long ago, she loved having pictures taken of him every few months. One of the recent photos photos was blown up and added to an easel near the cake and present table. She cranked up the music and finished putting on Lucas' outfit, careful not to wake him, while waiting for everyone else to get there. Ryland would be there soon she knew, he was probably out getting Lucas' present from them, or at least that's what she asked him to do.

If it was up to her, Lucas would be getting a swingset complete with a slide, even though he was probably actually too young for one. She couldn't believe how big he was getting. He was a mommy's boy and she wanted that to last forever. Emma starts preschool this year and Ella is devastated, she wonders if this is how she'll be too. She couldn't imagine her baby going to school. Her baby didn't even walk or talk yet, though he can stand, as well as he has a couple teeth and eats some regular food. It feels like just yesterday she birthed him and now, now he was one.

"Welcome." she smiled as she her the familiar sound of someone apparating.
