Breakfast (Open)

Work had been quite uneventful recently, more paperwork and research than actual auror adventures. Aisha was bored. She was just waiting for something interesting to happen. At Christmas, the twins were coming home and her mother was coming to meet them, which would be most exciting. Until then, it looked like things were set for more paperwork. This morning she planned on going to the training rooms and getting some exercise because she was probably getting really unfit sitting around all the time.

First, though, she was getting some light breakfast to give her a bit of energy. She arrived early, like usual, when there weren’t too many people around the lobby, and headed for the café counter. After ordering a breakfast bagel and coffee, she took a seat at a cute little table in the middle of the room. Where people could admire her hair. Aisha had it done yesterday and it looked absolutely amazing, all curly at the bottom and neat and perfect.

Another Wednesday. Wednesday have been Mitre's favorite since he had chosen this day for implementing his plan to talk to the Minister. These two had lots of things to discuss: immigration policy, ban on flying carpets, and of course, Mitre's "day of free firewhiskey" idea. Because everyone likes firewhiskey and it is much easier to get than, for example, unicorns, or some other things everyone likes. And there was a plenty of other topics too: Mitre even had a long list written on parchment, but he lost it somewhere, probably on Saturday. Saturdays were Mitre's days of drinks and relaxation. But mostly drinks.

But this Wednesday was special. Today Mitre managed to get to the Ministry Atrium for the first time. It was much bigger than he expected and there was no sign of the Minister himself. But it didn't seem like a big deal to Mitre, because all he needed to do was to ask someone how to find the Minister. Mitre would prefer to talk to someone with gorgeous mustaches, because mustaches are the best sign of a decent person. Sadly, no one except for Mitre had them, even small and petty ones.

Mitre looked around once more and some beautiful hair caught his attention. Hair is nothing compared to mustaches, but it is the closest thing to them except for a beard. So the girl who was the owner of this magnificent hair was probably the best person to talk to. Mitre walked to her table and took a seat, "Morning, lady. Where can I find your Minister?" He didn't realize it, but traditional Bulgarian clothes Mitre wore could help him a lot as he could be easily mistaken for some Eastern European official.

Aisha was just sitting there, enjoying her breakfast bagel, minding her own business when some foreign dude turned up. While a little bit weird-looking, he had the most incredible mustache. It was so big and furry. Sometimes she wished she could grow a mustache and this was one of those occasions. If she had a mustache, it would be so splendid it would rival even this amazing mustache. Unfortunately she couldn’t, so she would just have to envy this man’s facial hair.

“Good morning,” she greeted politely. It took quite a bit of self-control not to giggle at his forthright attitude and “conversation starter”.

As well as the wonderful mustache, he seemed to be wearing official looking foreign clothes. She was an auror - she knew nothing about geography and other cultures, but that definitely looked official to her. “Are you sure you need the Minister?” Aisha asked. “Could it be International Co-operation that you’re looking for?” That was where the foreign people usually were. Unless this man was the Minister of some other country and he had a meeting with that moron Jeremy Rufford. “May I ask what business you have here?” she added, for the sake of being able to help.
