Hello! I just wanted you all to know that I've been looking for a RP home all over, and I must say that this one is by far my favorite. I really love the layout, and application process, and the classes, and just how everything is set up. Really awesome.

I just have a teeny suggestion - which is no big deal or anything. In fact, it might be kind of irrelevant or impossible. But at another site I used to be a part of, each common room was password protected, you know, just like the books. It helped us to protect our Quidditch and dueling strategies, and I think it provided a sense of unity in the house. Plus, it's just a neat feature that made me feel like I was following the books. Now, I'm not sure if that's possible on this forum, or even desirable, seeing as how many people have more than one character, but I thought I would share it with you all.

I have actually already thought about that. The only problem is that I don't know how to protect a forum with a password, or if that's even possible. If anyone does, please share your wisdom.

Aylee, you can just enter a link to a part of a site, and only that part will be password protected, for example a link to the common rooms.

I've tried it because I know how. However,unlike other options, forummotion does not have the option to only lock a certain section of the board. Adding more HTML would be more trouble than it's worth as well.

No no no! Since I don't want to call you all fools and I'm more than happy to share my secrets even though I'd love to keep them to myself and make my site better. Yet again me suggesting anything will not mean that I don't have the right to use it. I still have the right to claim ownership of the idea as well though I will not attempt to force the forum to remove it once it is placed. Now. The idea.. Penelope that is a lovely idea and I've wanted to do that to my site but ever since I found out the company that helps us.. Create our websites currently has no way of making this possible, there is another solution.

All you will need to do is lock the forums to their groups. For example ONLY Ravenclaw will be able to view their forum but you see there is just.. one.. well.. just an issue.. You see though the forum might be locked for other members that aren't Ravenclaw.. There might be a member with more then one account that is in another team. Therefore they can/will tell their other team/s of the other team's plans. Which is a shame that anyone would do that but it is only human now isn't it. IF the site still wants to go through with my way.. Which is really the only way.. And you'd need to figure out some thing to counter the con, the Administration Team of Live the Magic can feel free to message me regarding the suggestion, for more information (how to do it, where exactly to go, pros, cons.. etc..).
