In trouble....?

Sydney shyly knocked on the door to the office. She had never been in trouble before. She didn't mean to break the dress code. SHe just wanted to seem cool in front of her new friends. She waited for an answer before entering the office, "You wanted to see me, professor?"

At the sound of a knock on her door, Sandra walked towards her desk after a chat with the portraits around her. They had informed her of something that worried her, but she couldn't let the students nor the parents know yet. "Yes, Miss Hale." she said as she heard a girl's voice." Sandra had always been a rule follower, and her rules were to be followed at all times.
"That" she said as she pointed at the girl's dress, "Is not acceptable during school hours." She gave the girl a warning look, "You are not in trouble. However, I will take ten points off Ravenclaw." Taking points off seemed to be the least, but expelling her was not reasonable at all. "If I ever get word that you have decided to break any of my rules, I will take more points off. If it happens more than once, you will be expelled." After a few seconds, Sandra's face softened, "Do you need a repeat of the rules, or do you think you are okay to follow them now?"

“Im fine, professor.” Sydney was more than upset about having to ditch her tutus. They were the only thing that made her feel at home. She wore them all the time at home, and it reminded her of her family and her old life. She love h er new life, but she missed her old one at times.

Sighing, Sandra spoke again, this time more softly. "Miss Hale, your tutus are fine as long as they are during your free time, not during school hours. You may go now." She said as the door to her office opened the path for the young girl.
