A way to make friends? [James Riddle && Wade Malfoy]

While starting her lunch, Illy could not stand being seated inside the castle thinking about the wonderful weather outside. Not able to handle it, Illy took some bread, butter, fruits and ran out from the Great Hall to get in the park. She had her favorite spots in the park, but as it was the weekend and the sun was out, most of her places would be overcrowded. After looking at several benches, she finally managed to find a spare one located in the clock tower courtyard. She really liked this place, finding it quite fascinating and mysterious. It had a mix of civilization and nature, a mix of history and modernity with this huge clock hanging up students' heads.What a peaceful place, she thought to herself. Of course, there were lots of students around her, but the pure sound of the fountain in the middle, the birds singing in the trees, helped Illy feel so much better than this Great Hall. She seated on the bench, glad to start her meal when suddenly the most unexpected friend came to seat beside her. It was a little gray bird. He looked very much like a sparrow. He must have smelted my bread. She immediately tore her bread into minuscule pieces to give it to the volatile. She spread the tiny pieces beside her and the bird started feeding himself.But, suddenly, a student just came and sat beside her, making the bird flew away in fear of being crushed down by this evil butt!

"Could'nt you be careful?"She said with authority. "This seat was taken!" She added justifying herself.

"Nothing new" James declared, folding the Daily Prophet and placing it back into his bag. "Do you know when the issue about Hogwarts is going to be published?" he inquired, turning towards Wade.

"Couldn't you be careful?" a loud voice suddenly said before Wade had the chance to reply. "This seat was taken!" Glancing in the direction it was coming from, James saw a young girl resting on a bench not far from them, staring fiercely at the Slytherin boy who had apparently tried to sit beside her. "I thought Huffelpuffs were supposed to be the kind ones." James quietly remarked with a smile, seeing the yellow crest on her school robe, as the boy mumbled an apology and walked away, visibly embarrassed.

Wade was about to answer James' question when he heard a loud voice. Turning around in sync with James, he raised an eyebrow at the girl who had apparently spoken. Chuckling at his friend's comment, Wade turned to look at him.
"Yes, and Slytherins are all supposed to be evil. And Raveclaws are supposed to be geniuses, and Gryffindors are supposed to be heroes." he said, half laughing as he and Lucy were nowhere near being evil.
"And I heard they're still interviewing the professors so I guess it should be out sometime soon." Wade answered as he took a bit out of his apple, referring to the previous question.. " It can't take that long to edit it, can it?"

Turning to the Hufflepuff girl once more, he asked James. "Want to go meet her? She seems like she could use a friendly conversation." She did seem rather lonely, although he was unsure if they should approach me given the situation a few moments ago.

"Yes, sure" James replied after a moment. He wasn't usually the type to go towards other people, but Wade was right.
"Hi" James shyly greeted her as they approached the bench the Hufflepuff was sitting on.

Grinning as he noticed James wasn't being as shy as usual, Wade tried to make things less awkward for him.
"Hey! I'm Wade Malfoy. Mind if we have lunch with you?" he said as he looked at the Hufflepuff girl, waiting for her answer.

Illy was looking at the bird flying away from her. He is so stupid!, she thought. Eventually, at some point she could no longer see the bird. Thereof, she continued to eat her sandwich. She felt a bit lonely now staring at all these students with their comrades and friends chatting, laughing, having fun. Illy was used to this kind of situation she was in. She could not stand people not taking care of the nature around them, not taking the time to look at nature, the fauna and the flora, surrounding them. Suddenly, she was taken out from her thoughts by an unidentified voice. It was a student, probably her age or a bit older she'd say. Two boys were standing in front of her, a Ravenclaw and a Slytherin. She smiled, a bit forced to, as the Ravenclaw said hi. She had stopped eating and was waiting.

"What do you want?" While saying it, she realized she was being a bit too aggressive. This guy just wants to say hi. Why am I acting like that?
"Hey! I'm Wade Malfoy. Mind if we have lunch with you?" Asked the Slytherin.

Both were good looking which made Illy a bit uncomfortable. Guys never talk to her usually... She hesitated at first. She could have finished her lunch alone and that is it, she would not have to socialize, which she considered it to be a real pain in the a***. Recalling her feelings a few minutes earlier, she decided to follow her heart.

"Er... Yeah... Yeah... No problem. Sit down..."

She continued her sandwich when suddenly the bird came back beside her. She took a bit of her sandwich, bent over to the little animal who jumped off in fear, before coming back to her to eat the pieces on her hand's palm! She was amazed by what was happening. She smiled, forgetting completely she had two future (?) friends on the bench behind her.

James considered walking away after the girl's unfriendly reaction to his greeting, but she seemed to soften up a bit once Wade asked if they could join her.

Taking a seat on the bench, James took out his own sandwich and started eating in silence, afraid he could say something that would offend the Hufflepuff. "You really seem to be good with animals." he finally complimented her, seeing the way the pigeon ate from her palm. "Have you already had Care of Magical Creatures? I'm sure you'll love it."

Ignoring the girl's rude reply to James, Wade thought it was just a nervous habit of hers. "Yeah, you do." he agreed with James' comment. The bird hadn't flown away scared like they usually did. This on seemed to like the girl. "If you haven't, you should take it." he suggested, "Professor Vega has a strange way of teaching, but we always have fun in her classes."
