How Lyra Came to Be.

Once upon a time, Evelyn was in the chatbox with Hunter and Nasim. Maybe some other, more silent people were there too, but it was a long time ago so Evelyn cannot remember.

Hunter was talking about Hunter's family and how he might make one of his younger sisters (yeah, he thought about making girl characters then ). Both Evelyn and Nasim volunteered to make the other sister, Lynette or Lyra. Because they acknowledged how cool Dutch twins would be. So Hunter decided that they could have one twin each.

After many secretive PMs exchanged between Nasim and Evelyn, the twins' character applications were created. From the very start, they had decided the twins would be very different characters with very different personalities. Nasim wanted the shy Lynette so Evelyn took the attention-seeking, bossy Lyra. It was a lot of fun creating them and keeping secrets from Hunter and whoever else was in the chatbox at the time. Twins got accepted, bla bla bla, there was the first sibling thread and then the VanDerbergs began to take over LTM.

Until very recently, Lyra had no real personality. Evelyn decided that in the future she would be a dark wizard. In a helpful thread with Hunter, Lyra started to have a personality and she developed a lot. Before, she just liked animals and was a total Aoife clone. Now, she is a self-centred, bossy, attention-seeking, blunt, bold brat with a real personality.

Lyra is not Evelyn's favourite or most interesting character, but she will grow more as a character and then maybe a Evelyn will stop hating her.
