| Full Name: Charles Alexander North Position: Care of Magical Creatures Professor Previous Education: Hogwarts: Ravenclaw House Qualifications: Charles took COMC for his one of his O.W.L exams and got an Outstanding, and also recieved an Outstanding on his N.E.W.T exams. His intelligence and good sense of humor help him make the lessons more fun than ever. Also, he has worked as a Zoologist and has written some best-selling books about Magical Creatures. Activity: I'm pretty active, and I'm pretty sure I can write 2 or 3 lessons a month. If I can't, I'll contact one of the admins. Another day, another COMC lesson, was the young Charles North's motto when it came to his lessons at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The young man was sitting on a log, preparing for the lesson. He had gathered some tamed Thestrals to help him with the lesson, or to at least see who could see them and who could not . "Shhh. Quiet down, darlings. The students will be here soon, I suppose." he said as an attempt to calm down the Threstrals, who were obviously too excited for this lesson. Charles was probably way more excited than them. If he was limber, he would have done some somersault, back flips, and cartwheels to show everyone how excited he was. Soon enough, his bubbling batch of third and fourth years gathered around in a horizontal line, so he can do the rolecall and get started with the lesson. "Now, everyone can sit down on the grass, and I will explain what is going on here." All of the students sat down on the grass and let him speak. "Greetings, students. Welcome to Care of Magical Creatures. I am your host, or professor, Charles North. Professor North will be fine. Some of you may have heard about me from books. I am not a wannabe Gilderoy Lockhart." He gave a stern look at the Slytherin gang. "Today's lesson will be about Threstrals. You will probably be taking notes for your homework tonight, so come up, get a clipboard, some ink, and sit back down and take your quills out." He watched as the children did what he asked. "Threstrals are considered very dangerous creatures, so I don't want to mounting one without me, alright class? So, anyway, threstrals are considered unlucky. Does anyone know why they are considered unlucky?" A Ravenclaw girl's hand shot straight up in the air. "Threstrals are considered unlucky because they can only be seen by people who have witnessed death." Charles smiled as he listened to the girl's answer. "Good, good. 10 points to Ravenclaw. You can come up and pick a bean from the collection of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans." Charles said. He was very excited. "Threstrals are larger than a winged horse, and can only be mounted by those who have witnessed death, as your classmate just said. Now, we are ready to start mounting the Threstrals." All of the children rode the Threstrals, and he handed out the homework. Charles watched as all of the children walked out of the classroom. |
