  • OWL year will consist of a term- long project, where each student is to create their own potion. They are required to make a minimum of 2 potions.
-Exams will cover a long and detailed essay on the potions you made and their difficulties. Final grade will consist of both the potions made and the examinations. To pass, a student must earn an Outstanding. If a student fails, they are allowed to repeat OWL year in year 7.

NOTE: In my Potions class, there is no year 6, you go straight from OWL year to NEWT year, NEWT year being for year 6 students. If a student fails OWL year and repeats it, that's the exception for allowing year 7 students into NEWT year.

  • NEWT year will consist of three advanced potions required to make: The Wolfsbane Potion, Polyjuice Potion, and the Draught of Living Death. Final grade will consist of how well the student brews the potions, and the exam.
-The exam will cover questions from everything since year 1. To pass, you must get a passing grade, and Potions NEWT can not be repeated.
