Having had a class with the 1-4th year students earlier that week, Lucia was looking forward to this lesson as well. She was a bit sad that the seventh years were now in their final year, and considering how quickly last year had gone, Lucia had decided to do her best and to get them all good and ready for OWLs and NEWTs and life after Hogwarts. She had figured out just what kind of potion she wanted to teach them, figuring it was time they learned the more dangerous potions. Sure, polyjuice potion and draught of peace were both quite tricky potions, but the consequences this potion would have if they brewed it incorrectly was quite fatal.

Lucia turned to the blackboard and picked up the chalk. She wrote up their potion for today. Amortentia. She wondered who'd have too much trouble with this potion, and who would do fine. She had a feeling she could safely bet on a certain Gryffindor, consdering his enthusiasm for the subject, even though she didn't particularly condone his behaviour the last couple of years. He'd gone through an ordeal, and he seemed to be picking himself up, so she hoped he'd gotten over the ingredients phase.

She sat down behind the desk as it was a good 15 minutes until class started, and waited for the students to show up.

Jessica wasn't that great in potions but she knew how to do potions if she had book in front of her. She was better than some people for sure. Only thing what she is the best at is drawing but you don't to much with that skill in this lesson for sure. Well creativity is her best skill then probably but you can't use it here either or you'll mess the potion up for sure.

She walked into the classroom and realized she was first student there. She didn't really like the idea being first one in classroom. "Hello, professor," she said with a small smile on her face. She then went to sit middle of classroom. She took her necessary things for lesson out from bag and placed on her table. She looked at board now and saw what they will learn today. She wasn't sure if she can do it good or not. She knew what kind of potion it was, she have read already most of her textbooks advanced in her free time.

Aoife still hated Potions, and she was still taking it. It really sucked that it was such a useful subject, because it was her worst one. She could probably do without it, in the line of work she was planning, but it would be nice if she could somehow miraculously get good at it in her last year. Probably wasn't going to happen though, considering how appallingly awful she was at brewing any kind of potion. Thinking about it, the only subject she was actually good at was Muggle Studies, and that was only because she'd grown up a muggle with no knowledge of the wizarding world. So of course she knew all about Marvel movies, and muggle food like pizza rolls, and how microwaves worked. It was the subjects involving actual magic where she failed. Maybe she wasn't even a wizard, and it was all a big misunderstanding. Saying that, though, her disillusionment spell had got rather good.

There was only one other student in the classroom when she arrived, a younger Hufflepuff who she shot a smile at as she walked in. "Hi, Professor Henley," she grinned. Taking a seat, she glanced at the board and mentally facepalmed. Love potion. She had bad experiences with these things. She'd need to make sure after the lesson that nobody slipped anything into her drink to make her fall in love with Seren again. That had been the worst.

After all the lessons Oliver had that day, Potions was a breeze. He had gotten so much better at it while at Durmstrang; his progress had surprised his father and Oliver couldn't wait to show Professor Henley how much he had improved. He had been at the Great Hall, eating lunch with his House Mates, and he would have arrived to class with Freddie had the boy not gone to the lavatories in an emergency. Oliver had always thought Freddie to have a great amount of self-control, except when it came to his bladder. He took a small batch of grapes as he walked to class, his feet leading the way naturally. His robes kept him warmer than he'd like, so he'd taken them off and carried them by hand, leaving only his sweater vest to inform others of his House.

He walked into the dungeons ready to tackle thisbclass, except when he looked at the board his confidence shattered to the ground. The love potion? Why? Oliver might have groaned out loud, he wasn't sure, but he knew that there was no way he could manage that one successfully. He greeted the Professor with a smile, despite not being very happy with the day's potion. Oliver walked over to the seat next to Jessica and grinned at her. "Hey." he greeted her and sat down, placing his books underneath but taking out his Potions one. The love potion couldn't be that bad, Oliver settled, besides, chances were the potion wouldn't even work.

Ariel was sitting in the library, doing some homework (*cough* researching for mischievous pranks *cough*) before class. Her next being Potions. Ariel wasn't a huge fan of potions, but she rather liked professor Henley. She was so calm, and Ariel liked calm people. So when the time neared, Ariel packed up all the stuff and walked to the Potions classroom. Aoife, Oliver and Jessica (whom she didn't know all too well) was already there, and Ariel decided to walk over to the fellow Gryffindor. "Hi," she said happily and sat down next to her. After all, they were prefect and Head Girl. Best kinds. Ariel had found it immensely surprising that she was selected prefect, but she just figured that, even if the Headmaster did know of her prankster nature, there was no substantial proof against her. Which she was more than happy about.

She looked at the professor and gave her a big smile when their eyes met. And then she saw the name on the blackboard. Amortentia? Well, that was something Ariel had absolutely no use of. But it might be interesting to see how well she'd be able to brew it. Though she had a feeling that DaDA wasn't the only thing she'd fail at this week. So she leaned back in her chair and opened her book, trying to find the instructions of the potion in her book. But she didn't find it. So she waited for the class to start to learn more, though one thing was running through her head; where the hell was Hunter?

Lucia greeted the students as they walked into the room, and watched them all take a seat. It didn't take long before Lucia felt a bit impatient, and she was also shocked to note that not all of the students taking the class had shown up yet, but this didn't matter much. She let the people in the room do what they wanted for a while, as the class had yet to start. She looked carefully at the students, smiling to the ones she met the eyes of. She wondered if they'd be able to brew this potion. After all, there was a reason this potion was not in the school books. Too many girls and guys might get too hotheaded and try to make one, fail, and potentially poison the object of their affection. Which was something they'd be talking about today.

Lucia looked at her watch and rose from the desk. "All right then, class, it's time to begin," she said with a smile and walked around the desk, leaning on it. "Today, as you can see, we'll be studying the potion called Amortentia," she continued, looking briefly back to the blackboard. She'd noticed some of the students looking through books to see if they could find it there, but after a while, they'd given up. "This potion isn't in the school books, and with good reason. Can anyone tell me why?" she asked curiously, her eyes shifting over the students in the room.
