Meeting Prof. Vega.

Selene walked into her office and found the redheaded student sitting by her desk.
"Oh," Selene exclaimed, surprised that the student had not waited outside. "I didn't think you'd show up so early."
Selene had just gotten back from the Forbidden Forest, and her clothes were dirty and her shoes full of mud.
"I'm sorry, I thought you'd come in the afternoon." she told the girl. "Give me a second." she told her, disappearing behind a small door close to her desk. After Selene came back, she was wearing a new pair of jeans, and her shirt was a new clean one too.
"Okay, let's talk then." she said, sitting down at her chair, pulling her hair up into a ponytail.
"Shah," she began, "How do you feel in my class?"

Selene smiled at the complimet, glad that she was doing a good job.
"Thank you, but I also don't want you to confuse kindness for weakness." She told the girl.
That had always been the problem with people; she had always been too nice, but she was determined to not let that happen with her students.
"I also don't think it was nice if you to walk into my office like it's nothing. Remember that there are boundaries. Now, I won't take any points off Gryffindor or anything, just remember to knock." She tried to not sound mean but also to keep her voice firm. She quietly added, "Imagine what would've happened if you'd done that to Proffesor Wayne."
Selene was joking, of course, but she was afraid of the man, she wasn't going to deny that.
"So, you do know that this is my first year teaching? All I'm looking for right now is feedback, and if you want to suggest then this would be the time to do it" she said with her usual kind smile.

"I'm really sorry I came in without permission Professor Vega." the red-haired student apologized again. "To be frank Professor, I'm really surprised and amazed that your teaching skills are so good, regardless of it being your first year as at teacher." the student finished.
Selene smiled, glad she had been doing a good job.
"It's fine, Shah, just make sure you don't do it again. It may not get you in trouble with me, but that doesn't mean any other professors will be as nice about it. And thank you for your feedback Shah. It lets me know that I'm going in the right direction. Now, if you have any suggestions or things of the likes, send me an owl or come by after class and I'll be glad to listen to you. You may leave if you want, or, in fact, I'm about to go and have lunch in the Great Hall, you may come with me if you'd like. I'm not very fond of the Staff Room." Selene invited the student, unsure if she'd had lunch already.

"Okay, Shah. Thank you for the feedback. It was nice to see you too." Selene said as she waved goodbye to the girl and returned to her desk.
