Serafina held her map in her hand as she wound through the corridors looking for her class. Upon finding it, she entered, noticing she was the first one there, and took a middle seat to the left. She didn't know what to expect from the class, especially since she sucked at cooking but she carried in her cauldron and supplies anyways.

Waiting for the others to join, she took out a notebook and wrote down "Potions: Lesson 1". Crossing her legs, she rested her head on her hand and stared out the window until it was time for the class to begin.

Saryana had help to get to class from a painting. Of a crazy, or really drunk knight. She had asked him for help once to get to a class, yet now it seems he would be anywhere she is, just to help her. Or as he said, "I shall help you on this quest!" every time. As she walked in, she head him say that he will wait for her through the whole class. Mentally thanking the founders that they didn't put painting frames in the bedrooms, she looked around.
Saryana sighed when she noticed she wasn't first. The Serafina girl was before her... again! Shaking her head, she sat down at the front, dragging her cauldron with ingredients behind her. Than she put it in it's place and began to take the ingredients out, while grouping them. She wondered what potion they would make. Hopefully one day they could do the Poly juice one - she always wanted to do it.

Derek liked Potions a lot. He was almost as good at Potions as he was at Charms. But he was good at most things, so it didn't mean too much really. Like usual, he planned on being early and prepared and whatever, because sometimes that earned you points. He was slightly sidetracked trying to find hair gel and eventually just giving up, but he was prepared for delays.

So when he wandered through the dungeons and into the classroom he saw that he was one of the first to arrive, after a couple of younger Gryffindor girls who he smiled at. Then he took a seat in the middle, impatiently staring at the door as though it would make the professor turn up and start the class.

Ridley balanced the strap of her bag on her shoulder, trying not to drop the full of schoolbooks thing as she walked in the room. She was very excited about this class - she'd heard great things about the Professor and she knew how Slytherins were linked to Potions. Besides, Rid had had Matthew help her get the basics to prepare for this lesson and not look dumb, so she was more or less ready.

Ridley was (suprisingly) early and the Professor wasn't there yet. She looked around the room, mentally picking out a place to sit and waving to the three other people already seated. She plopped down on the chair, putting the bag on the table, and crossed her hands in anticipation.

Matthew was so early! He was going to be first to potions and it was going to be awesome! The professor would see that he was first, and give Slytherin loads of points and they'd win the house cup all because of Matthew! And then he'd be a hero and shit, and maybe if he became an important, well known Slytherin person, he could get special privileges - like, maybe he could ask for a magic restraining order against Ariadne! Some kind of spell that zapped her if she got too close to him. Yeah, that was definitely what he would ask for.

But shit. He wasn't first. Which meant he was doomed to be stuck with Ari for the rest of his life. Or at least until he could learn how to do a spell that kept her away. Derek was smarter than him, so maybe he would learn how to do it first and help Matthew out. Matthew hesitated in the doorway, contemplating chasing everyone out with his awesome fire-spell ability, just so that he could technically be the first one there. But on the bright side, Ari wasn't there yet! And Derek was! And the professor wasn't there yet anyway, so she wouldn't know he wasn't first. He could always lie and say he was. So, deciding to not worry about it, he bounced into the room and took a seat beside Derek. "Hi!" he said brightly, beaming at his friend.

Arwen was terrified that she might be late for class, so she went out of the Ravenclaw common room way too early. She set off and took precautions and asked the paintings for directions. Which hadn't been a good thing, apparently. She had taken the directions of an evil paiting, who had sent her to the other side of the courtyard and castle, and found another painting that gave her the right heading. She would be late. No doubt. So she set of running. She was panting soon, which was horrible, but she couldn't do anything about it. This was terrifically horrible. She'd be late. So, so late! She almost sat down crying. She hated this. Why was she always late?!

But then she found the steps down to the dungeons, and the road from there was surprisingly easy, even though there were no pictures there. That she saw, at least. And then she found the classroom. She was so relieved! She actually made it. She walked into the room, with good five minutes to spare, and saw she wasn't the only one who had been early. She was surprised though. Out of the five people already there, she already knew who three of them were. Not enough to walk over to them, of course. She didn't make a sound, and hoped she wouldn't be recognized by any of them, and took a seat in the back, her face halfway hidden in shadows. She really just wanted to learn stuff, and not say anything.

Bry liked the sound of Potions. Throwing lots of ingredients into a big pot and stirring them a bit made the subject sound very appealing to her, especially since she knew that she could make a huge range of various potions to do various things. And that would be cool. She was really excited and even made an effort to run along the corridors in order to arrive on time, and arrive on time she did. Beaming, Bry found herself a work station in the middle of the classroom and grabbed her textbook from her bag, all ready to start.

Elixir to Enduce Euphoria? What did those long complicated words even mean? And what did the potion do?
