Oliver was a fourth year. This meant he was officially a teenager. Obviously, one became a teenager when they turned thirteen, but that was the awkward stage where people were transitioning from silly preteens to cool teens to then become bad-ass young people. Well, as bad-ass as wizards could get, which Ollie figured was SUPER BAD-ASS because they had magic and stuff. Which Muggles didn't. So Oliver was pumped to start off this new year being an actual teenage boy, which meant he was supposed to stop dancing in the hallways and hugging trees. Well, he'd never stop hugging tress he just wouldn't do it publicly.

He walked from the Common Room to the Great Hall after setting his stuff down and changing into his robes. He wore those Hufflepuff clothes proudly. Grinning, he greeted everyone he came across in the hallways, and some snobby Slytherins flipped him off. Oh, well. Ollie practically jumped in through the double doors, they were massive, but he was so excited to be back at Hogwarts! He ran up to the Hufflepuff table, greeting all of his housemates and glancing around to see if he saw anyone he knew, like Blake or Victoria. Even thought they were in different houses, Ollie could sneak in to theirs for a few seconds. He missed them so much!

And, where was Matthew? Oliver glanced at the Slythering table, but knowing his brother, he was probably running late. Either way, Ravenclaw seemed the the fullest table, almost everyone was there already!

For Jessica it was third year in this school now already. She did get already actually 13 end of her last school term actually. She spend most of her summer alone in her room reading. It was what she did. She was mostly too shy to do anything else. She didn't have back at home many friends and mostly they did thinfs about what she wasn't really interested.

She had changed into her hufflepuff robes too then walked into great hall and walked then towards her house table. She soon took seat there next someone(Oliver) who she may have seen before around and even talked but she really didn't talk much with people around her. She was just too shy for it. If they talked with her she answered but very shortly. She actually wanted to change it but it wasn't easy.

She waved her hand then when she sat and said even with very low voice there hello. Mostly people around her could hear it.

After the incredibly trying, annoying-her-out-of-her-mind train journey, they finally arrived at Hogsmeade station and Lyra shot out of the compartment clutching her trunk and owl. She was one of the first to reach the castle in her haste to avoid anyone trying to talk to her. Once she’d got upstairs to the dorm, she sat on her bed. She really, really didn’t want to go to the feast, to see the arrogant girl from the train and all her first-year friends get sorted or to have to put up with people, but on the other hand she was SO hungry. And her best chance of quick, brilliant food was the feast, rather than heading down to the kitchens afterwards. Besides, that was an extra set of stairs.

So she changed into her robes and headed downstairs with nothing in her head but food. Amazing Hogwarts food. She managed to trip over her robes a few times - they were new and she had become unused to wearing the awkward, heavy things. But she was there fairly quickly, while there were very few people there yet, mainly Ravenclaws. This made choosing where to sit a difficult choice. She couldn’t sit squashed between random strangers to avoid people she knew, so she would just have to chance it, sit on the end and send icy looks to anyone who got close.

As soon as she had sat down, Lyra found herself regretting her decision to turn up. She always forgot about how long they had to wait for food. Those little kids made her sick - delaying her eating with their stupid sorting and that mouldy old hat taking hours and hours. And it hadn’t even started yet. She sighed. This was going to be a long, long feast.

Oliver was still searching the faces for someone familiar, when all of a sudden someone sat down next to him. Jessica! Grinning, Oliver hugged his Hufflepuff housemate. They had really only talked a few times in the Common Room, but she seemed like a good person so she was worthy of a hug. "Jessica!" he greeted her and took his wiggly arms away. Oliver really needed to get some meat in him; he was too slanky and weird looking. Yeah, he needed to work out or eat protein or whatever it was buff guys did to get buff.

"How was your summer?" he asked her with a goofy smile, his hands waiting for the young ones to get sorted so he could dip them on some food. He was really starting to get hungry. Without thinking about it, he glanced at the Ravenclaw table once again. Maybe his favorite Ravenclaw would arrive soon.

Great, the start of term feast. Elita strolled into the Great Hall. Her baby bump was pretty decently sized now. She hid it as best she could under her House robes, but her petite frame didn't compliment the belly or huge robes to well. She'd be the first Hogwarts student to be knocked up, stupendous.

It was her eighth year, she'd managed to fail her seventh year and she needed to pass so she'd have a career. She sat down at the end of the Slytherin table, alone, as always. She had no friends, she no longer cared. Her stomach grumbling, the baby kicking, she impatiently drummed her fingers on the table and waited for the sorting to begin.

It was finally her first year at Hogwarts! She couldn't be happier. After long years of reading books without her parents knowledge, she at last can study and do magic. The train ride was pretty fun for her. She didn't get friends there but just watching outside the windows or reading filled her time greatly. During the whole time she was in her robes. She'd sometimes glance down at her still colourless tie, wondering what house she'd be. She was positive that she'd be Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, though, mostly because her two parents where one or the other.

As soon as she got of the train she followed the teacher who was calling for all the first years. She remembered reading about Harry Potter's story and thought about the Hagrid guy. A half giant who taught at Hogwarts. She wondered if he was still here. She would have to ask.

They were sent through a lake with magical moving boats to a castle which gleamed mysteriously yet frighteningly in the moon like. Even though she read much for her, she couldn't help but gasp. It was simply amazing. Soon they were off the boats and heading towards Hogwarts. Now she would finally she if she is more as her mum or her dad.

Walking in the Great Hall was like into.... Well, she didn't even know how to explain it, which meant a lot. The thing she knew was that it is huge and, as she read in Hogwarts, a History, the roof was made so you can't see it, but instead the sky - day or night. Looking around at the students, most of who had arrived, she noticed that some just wanted the sorting to finish - and she couldn't blame them. She herself wanted it to go faster. Now all she could do was wait.

Food! That was the only thought that occupied Victoria's mind at the moment. She was so busy with unpacking the whole day that she barely had anything to eat. So with her hair pulled up in a high pony tail and her stomach growling from hunger, she made her way down to the Great Hall. The moment she entered the room a savory smell of all kinds of dishes overwhelmed her and forced a smile on her face. Finally, it was time to eat. Silently, she apologized to her stomach for keeping it hungry for so long and vowed to never do it again.

The hall was filled with returning students and little first years who were trying to find their seat at the tables. The Ravenclaw table was pretty empty for the moment so Victoria took her usual seat and poured herself a glass of water. Turning around, she scanned the room for familiar faces. She saw Lyra, Hunter's sister, at the Gryffindor table but decided not approach her. Her expression seemed rather annoyed already and Victoria's enthusiasm over something so benign as food would probably make things even worse. Her eyes then passed to the Hufflepuff table and she saw the back of a raven haired boy. "Oliver!", she almost shouted and waved, knowing that had to be him. Maybe it was because of his hair or something but Victoria could always recognize Ollie even from far away.

She inadvertently glanced at the Slytherine table but then quickly looked away. There was no one to look for there as Victoria barely had any Slytherine friends. She wasn't sure why that was as she never had anything against the house - or any other for that matter. Perhaps this year she should make some new friends, have a little diversity in her life. Yes, that should be one of her goals for the upcoming term. That and making the Quidditch team of course.

What Matthew had thought would be an awesome train ride with his awesome brother had turned out to be not so awesome at all because stupid Ariadne had to show up and ruin it all. After searching for his brother - who had run off without Matthew like always - for ages, Matthew had expected to be able to just hang out with Ollie when he finally found him. But no, Ari had to be annoying and try to sit with them. After a while, Matthew couldn't take it and left - that's right, he actually left the presence of his amazing brother Ollie just to get away from Ari! That was really saying something for how annoying she was.

So now, as the train pulled to a halt, Matthew had no idea where anyone else was - mostly because he'd been hiding in a back compartment where luckily Ari hadn't been able to find him. So he got off the train by himself and hopped into a carriage with some older students that he didn't know. It was fine though, because he was too busy trying to figure out how the carriages pulled themselves. When he finally made it into the great hall for the welcoming feast, it was pretty full already. It was cool that Ollie could go straight to his table and not wait around to be sorted - oh, only Ari would be at the Slytherin table. That wouldn't be good.

But it wasn't a problem because there was Ollie! Matthew could go sit with his big brother at the Hufflepuff table! It wasn't fair that they weren't in the same house, but that didn't mean Matthew couldn't sit with him. So he bounded across the great hall and slid into a space next to his brother, sending a glare over his shoulder at Veronica when she yelled his brother's name. Then, he turned back to his brother and grinned. "Hi Ollie! Sorry I left you on the train! I had to - I couldn't take it!" Because Ari was annoying and not his girlfriend unlike what Ollie seemed to think. "I'm supposed to sit over there for the feast but I don't want to Ollie, so I'm going to sit with you! Do you think there will be food soon? I'm starving!"

Jessica was surprised when she was hugged by Oliver now. She really wasn't used that people hugged her but she didn't mind it. She even did hug him back then for few seconds. "Hey, Oliver," she said there then with a smile.

When she asked about her summer she wasn't sure what to say. "It was good as always. Spent it mostly at home reading or drawing like always. I'm not really person who goes outside much," she said there then something with weak smile this time. "What about yours?" she asked back then. She wanted to eat already too actually, she had even skipped breakfast today and yeah now she was hungry. She was glad that her stomach didn't make yet loud noises there, growling is what i meant by that.

Ugh. Agnes was sure that her attendance to the Opening Feast was absolutely unnecessary. She wasn't going to be put through the awkwardness of sitting on a stool with a silly talking hat on her head, so there was no real reason to attend. However, the Gryffindor Head or the Prefect or whatever shit they had at Hogwarts had advised her to go. Awesome! More time to waste here!  She put on her robes, amd it took her a long time to get them on right. There was just too much fabric, not to mention she looked ridiculous wearing them. She was tall, not puny like most of the girls she had seen around, so Agnes looked like a Praying Mantis wearing a cape. Standing in front of her bed, Agnes threw the robes over her head and put them back in her trunk. There was no way she was going to expose herself with such disgusting clothes. Instead, she put on her Gryffindor sweater, the old-lady skirt she was forced to wear, and headed out towards the immense hallways filled with creepy pictures.

Passing the many portraits of old men and women who asked her things like how she was doing and if she was liking the Castle, she tried to ignore as many of them as possible. Finally, she pushed the massive double doors open and her eyes grew wide with shock. There were four tables. Four. How the hell was she supposed to know which one she was supposed to sit at? Was she supposed to sit anywhere? Or...were they separated by House? Agnes looked at everyone, they chatted and laughed with their friends and shenfelt even more homesick than ever. It suddenly hit her that she didn't know anyone. Agnes walked towards the first table she saw, and took a seat next to a girl with long dark hair, who had just shouted someone's name. Confidently yet internally growing more and more scared, Agnes tried to get the girl's attention by saying, "Hello! Do you think we'll get to eat soon?"

It was first day in new school for Julian. He really wasn't familar with school so he basically did follow other students to Great Hall. He looked around here. He decided to sit into his house table, which was gryffindor. He understood it throught their uniforms. At least that much he knew about the schools which colot symoblised which house. He sat down and greeted all her fellow housemates now. They all probably wonder who he is but right now he just waited the sorting to end so he could taste the food. He was a little bit hungry already.

Oliver was ready to listen to Jessica talk about how awesome her summer might have or might have not been, when he heard his name being called by a very familiar voice. Turning around to glance at the Ravenclaw table again, he saw Victoria. His face turned into his signature goofy grin, from ear to ear, which probably made him face stretch more than it was humanly possible. Oliver probably had super flexible and stretchy skin. He was about to say something along the lines of 'Victoria! My friend! How are you?!' but Matthew got in the way. Where had he even come from? Ollie chose to not answer that question for himself.

Matthew, as usual, started talking too fast and energized that Ollie had to think quickly to get a sense of what his little brother was saying. "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to your girlfriend." Ollie smirked, trying not to laugh. He was really enjoying making fun of Matthew and Ariadne's friendship. Naturally, Matthew denied everything, but Oliver could totally see them together in the future. Mostly, he had an image of a 15-year old Ariadne standing on their doorstep with a box full of pictures of herself to give to Matthew, and then walking into their home like it was hers only to argue with Ollie's brother about the stupidest thing like the fact that she didn't like the color of Matthew's rug and he refused to change it so she ran down the stairs screaming at him and bashing his bad taste or something and slamming the front door behind her. Yeah, that was the kind of relationship Ollie saw for the two young Slytherins. Even then, that would be better than Ollie's nonexistent love life.

Oliver was about to say that it was fine Matthew wanted to sit there, because at least Victoria wasn't really around to see all the embarrassing things his little brother could do. After the ice cream day, Oliver did not want both of them in the same place unless it was strictly necessary like right now. He just shrugged, because Jessica spoke to him just then. Turning his head the other way, to see her better and not be rude, "You need to get out, Jess." he commented, "The best adventures always happen outside!!" And of course, the best memories were created with nature. Speaking of Nature, Oliver was convinced that he could get on the Willow's good side before graduation. This meant, he would have to visit it more often.

"Mine was pretty good. I played lots of football, and I practiced Quidditch because I decided to try out this year!! he beamed, jumping a little on his seat and then realizing that just like Jessica, his stomach was growling too. Turning to Matthew, he said, "Matthew, Jessica." then to Jessica, "Jessica, my little brother. He hoped the feast would start soon, because he was more than ready for some food!

Her eyes focused on Oliver who was grinning back as a response. He might have even said something back but was probably interrupted by his little brother. Victoria caught Matthew's glare coming from across the Hufflepuff table and she gave up any attempt of an actual conversation. She noticed that the young Slytherin wasn't very fond of her for some reason. Even when they were getting ice cream together. Perhaps he was in that phase were only his older brother was cool enough and everybody else just couldn't measure up to that. But Victoria was determined to be as nice as she could to Matthew. Sooner or later they have to become friends! How could you not be friends with someone who is nice to you?

"Hi!", said Victoria turning around to see a girl take a seat next to her. She seemed older than her but yet her face was unfamiliar. Was it possible that she didn't know everyone from her house just yet? But glancing at her clothes, she noticed the gold and red colors that lined her uniform. "I hope so, I am starving! I passed by the kitchen a few minutes ago and the food seemed ready. So I don't know what is with the delay. I am Victoria by the way", she introduced herself with a smile. The Ravenclaw was certain that she hasn't seen the girl around before, but maybe she just hadn't noticed her before

"Do you prefer to sit the Ravenclaws?", Victoria asked curiously. Considering she was a Gryffindor, it seemed a bit odd not to sit with your house on the first day. But she knew how the Gryffindors could get a times - too loud and arrogant for their own good. Perhaps the girl got sick of it and just decided to sit at another table. That wouldn't be the weirdest thing in the world. "If you do, you can always sit by me", she assured her. There was no official rule about sitting with your house anyway, or at least she though so. But even if there was, no one was gonna actually enforce it.

Jessica knew that she has to go out lot more and so on but she just didn't enjoy it so much as others did. "I should probably yeah," she said thete quietly now. She wondered if he was right or not. She had no idea but she had heard it too before. She went outside only when she wanted or she was forced to go there. Most of times she spent it inside with books mostly.

She looked at the Matthew and waved her hand. "It's nice to meet you Matthew," she said then there now with weak smike. She was polite girl. Even if she most of tikes tends to he shy. She just was careful, she chooses people with who she hangs out. She doesn't want to get hurt or bullied again. She hates these two things very much. It had happened once in her past and now she is careful for sure. She looked at the Oliver and the Matthew. She basically waited them to say something now. She herself had no idea about what to talk with people. She just couldn't think out any good topics so easily.

The girl seemed to be looking away, probably at her friend or something important, but Agnes did not want to sit alone on her first dinner at Hogwarts. How lame would that be?! She turned to scan the rest of the people, and she suddenly saw the table full of people with red on their robes. Damn. She frowned, realizong that she had not gotten lucky and had chosen the wrong House to sit with. She was brought back when the girl awknowledged her. Agnes grinned at her, she seemed pretty nice already!
"Awesome! I haven't had very much to eat today. Do you guys have mille-feuilles here?" she asked, already missing her mother's baking.

"Agnes Beaumont. Pleased to meet you, Victoria." Agnes replied, and then she had to think about her next question. Agnes didn't know how to explain that she was not an old student. Well, she was old but not old in attendance-terms. She hesitated before replying, "I'm a transfer student from Beauxbatons. I sort of panicked when I saw the tables!" she finally said, thinking there was no disgrace in admitting the truth. "Do you not like to sit with the Ravenclaws?" Then a new thought crissed her mind. She knew there were Houses, but she didn't know them all yet. Which one was Ravenclaw anyway?

Leia Diamanti strolled into the Great Hall, both looking forward to this new year and dreading it at the same time. Sure, she'd made some friends last year, but would she have the temperament to actually keep them, or would she let her emotions take over during one of her temper tantrums if something didn't go her way? It was sad..she wasn't three years old any more, and she still flew into rages whenever something went wrong or changed or anything else. It was probably why she still didn't have a boyfriend. Well, this year everything was going to change. She was going to be a brand new Leia Elise Diamanti.

She took a seat near the middle of the Gryffindor table, hearing her stomach rumble just then. Looking up at the staff table, she perused each one of the adults' faces, wondering just who was going to give out torturous amounts of homework this year. Potions was an automatic shoo-in for a lot of homework. Charms was a little more relaxed, but not a whole lot more. Divination...well, that was going to be interesting. She'd taken the class last year and could have sworn she'd almost Seen. That could have been just her imagination, though. What hadn't been her imagination were the nearly-perfect grades she'd made in Defense Against the Dark Arts. This had surprised both her and her parents, her father particularly. Being an Auror, he was quite pleased with her.

Leia heard someone call her name and turned around to see who it was. It was a third-year Hufflepuff girl, someone she'd met near the end of last year and with whom she'd been pen pals with during the summer. She waved vigorously, then walked over to the Hufflepuff table to talk to her a bit before the feast started.

"Sorry, mille what?", asked Victoria as she was filling her plate with large pieces of chicken. She was beyond starving at this point, and pretending to be anything different would just be silly. And a waste of time. "I doubt it. But maybe", she answered shrugging her shoulders, not really knowing to what dish was the Gryffindor referring to. However she did realize it sounded awfully French, a language she was terrible at. Despite attempting to learn it from a young age. But Hogwarts food was mainly English - as in chips and fish english. There wasn't a lot of room for international cuisine.

"But you know, if you are craving some food from back home you can always ask the kitchen elves to make some for you. They are really sweet and if you are nice to them I am sure they will make you whatever you wish". Sometimes she would sneak into the kitchen and beg the elves to make her refogado - which was her country's version of beans and rice. And on days she was feeling homesick, this was the perfect thing to make her feel better. That and a large cup of Brazilian coffee.

"Oh a transfer! That's awesome!", Victoria exclaimed, perhaps a little too over excited. Finally, someone just like her! Well, besides the fact that this girl was older and a Gryffindor. But that wasn't the point. "Are you French then?", she asked curiously as she shoved pieces of chicken into her mouth. "I transferred from Brazil three years ago. I had this horrid accent - which everyone found funny of course. I think you can't hear it as much now. But anyway, you get used to Hogwarts pretty quickly", she assured her. "And I don't mind being a Ravenclaw", she added, although secretly she wanted to be in Slytherin. They were just more badass.
