My Character :: Activity: Head of Department of Mysteries

| Working as Head of the Department of Mysteries had been much easier than Mordred initially believed. It simply took a great deal of his time. But when Morgana was at Hogwarts, Mordred didn't mind spending a lot of time at the ministry. Actually, it was a nice diversion from the thoughts that had recently grown in his head. Morgana was always an open book to Mordred, like humans in general were, just even more so as he did know her to start with. And this had lead to many worries as of late.
Ever since he had seen her reading the Marvolo diary, he'd been paying extra attention to her, the words she used in letters and the questions she asked Mordred about stuff she shouldn't be curious about. She had even asked questions about a library, being pretty sketchy about the details. Mordred didn't know which library she was talking about, and he was also not about to ask; he'd rather not know. If she wouldn't tell him exactly what library she was referring to, he couldn't really help her either way.
He was currently on his way from the atrium, having picked up a cup of coffee -his fuel- and walked into the lifts that would take him on the long way to the Department of Mysteries. He was surprised to find the lift empty except for a younger woman who had to be a new employee. He felt he'd seen her before somewhere, but he couldn't quite place his finger on where. He took a spot and leaned against the wall, prepared for the jerk the lifts always made when they set off. | |
