| Classes were over for the day, her homework was finished and Aylee found some free time at last. Her fifth year was the most stressful so far, with OWLs coming up everyone needed to study and being a Ravenclaw meant no exceptions. Especially after Career Advice, everyone knew that passing your OWLs would have a huge impact on your future. And that was she was mostly scared of, really. After dumping her bag in her dormitory, she slowly walked towards the library and curled up in a quiet corner amongst the bookshelves so she could read in peace. It was evening, and the only light was mostly coming off from the candles on the windows. The library would be closing in about another hour, but what did she care? She found a small spot on the floor, almost at the back of the library where nobody normally ventured. Then she opened her book, one of her Christmas presents from Elita, John Green's "The Fault in Our Stars" and began to read. As the words of the book took her into another world, a very different world, she soon began to forget about her surroundings. | |
