| Morgana walked gloomily in the direction of the kitchens, having read professor Vega's announcement on the board in the Slytherin common room. Really, fetching food wasn't a bad job, it was actually rather easy. But of course she had been paired up with pretty boy to do so. Wade was seriously getting on her nerves. But what really got on her nerves, was the fact that she let him get on her nerves. She should just ... not care. But his arrogance was undeniable. She sighed as she made a turn as she continued on her way in the dungeons to the other side, knowing the kitchen would be close to the Hufflepuff common room, which she really had no idea where was located, other than the fact that it was on the opposite side of the Slytherin common room. She knew she was on the right path, but even so, she was relieved when she saw the painting of a fruit bowl. She tickled the pear and the green fruit turned to a doorknob. She turned it and pushed the door in, walking into a big room that smelled of food. House elves were rushing around, obviously busy with the preparation of Christmas themselves, but a handful of them walked straight up to her, asking her what she'd like to eat, what she wanted and kept up their renown polite attitude. For a brief moment, she wondered where the heck Wade was, but then she decided to reply to the house elves. She didn't get the chance, though. Because at that moment, the door to the kitchens opened again. This thread is open to Wade Malfoy | |

| Wade didn't fret over being paired up with Morgana. Though he wasn't fond of the girl at all, he loved the reactions he got from her. It seemed to him that if she could, she would hang him from any tower in the castle. Chuckling at the thought, Wade continued to make his way toward the kitchens, where he was supposed to meet Morgana to get the food ready for Professor Vega's Christmas party.
"Hi Wade." He heard a calm voice greet him, though it took him a moment to recognize the source. It was a third year Hufflepuff whom Ryland had talked to a few times before. Realizing just then that the boy was a Muggle-Born, upon recalling a conversation with Ryland, Wade simply nodded and walked away. Finally reaching the kitchen, Wade swung the door open only to find Morgana surrounded by house elves desperately trying to know how they could be of help.
"She's a tough one." Wade said to one of them. "Don't try to get her to be nice." Grinning, he noticed how this particular elf was shorter than the rest, with brighter and bigger eyes that showed a pure, kind soul. Wade's heart turned inside out, but he pushed all of that away and, for the first time, found comfort in focusing only on Morgana. "So, what do you have in mind?" He asked as he walked over to an elongated table, inspecting a cake some of the elves were finishing up. Wade smiled at them, unable to be mean to the creatures.

| Morgana looked at Wade with a raised eyebrow. She looked down at the House-Elves and then back to Wade. "Just because you wouldn't know how..." she said, and left it hanging in the air for him to interpret it the way he wanted to. He ought to be smart enough to realize that, by her obvious disinterest in him, that it wasn't intended nicely. She took notice of the look he gave one of the house-elves, but didn't comment on it. It seemed as if his affection for the creatures were the only quality she found agreeable in him up till now.
She looked around the room, deciding to not let Wade and his annoying demeanor affect her today. She took on the look of a completely disinterested person, and looked over at the table he was strolling towards. "People like cake, don't they?" she asked, having seen a lot of people eat it. She, herself, was no fan of food. She used her brain to notice everything that was going on around her, not to work on her digestion. "Does professor Vega want us to bring warm food as well, or is it merely dessert she wants us to fetch?" she asked, looking at a table with a big, golden turkey.
One of the elves walked up to her with a big grin. "Would my lady want the turkey?" he asked, his voice shrill, but overly joyous. A bit too joyous. Morgana sighed, but looked rather friendly down at the elf. "I'm not sure. Pray, what do you think would fit a Christmas party?" she asked the elf. The elf, who seemed all too happy to be of use, gave a cry of joy and quickly walked up to a cabinet and opened it. "Butterbeer, miss. Everyone loves butterbeer," he said happily.
Morgana gave a nod at that. "True, we will need butterbeer, won't we Malfoy?" she asked calmly, helping the elf take down some bottles.

| "I'm sorry, did you say something?" Wade turned to Morgana, a smirk on his face, clearly wanting to annoy her as much as he could with a few words. He knew very well the girl's dislike towards him was too much, but he had been in the same position many times before that it seemed to pass right through him now, except when Lucy was the one disliking him.
It seemed to Wade that the only girl with enough power over him to make him rethink his choices was his cousin, but why? Not even Shah had that. Ignoring the Slytherin girl for a few seconds, he turned to one of the elves. "What do you think, buddy?" he rested his elbows on the table, pointing towards the cake. "Could we take this to Professor Vega's Christmas party? It looks wonderful." he smiled at the elf, only to see the little one smile back at him and agree.
"We're taking the cake then." he said to Morgana. "Though I think the turkey's too big. But maybe something smaller, but equally tasty?" he turned to another elf as Morgana helped an elf with the butterbeer.
"Yeah, sure." Wade replied to Morgana, letting her words pass by once again then turned to the elf again. "Lyra would be very glad to help Mister Malfoy." the little elf said happily as he took Wade's hand and led him to another table. This one was filled with salty snacks. "We have turkey sandwiches." Lyra informed, letting go of Wade's hand. "They go along with Miss Gaunt's idea. And we have gravy to go with it also!" he said, jumping up and down. Wade assumed Lyra enjoyed gravy as a favorite food.
Smiling, Wade put some of the food Lyra had offered on a larger platter. At the end, he had the turkey sandwiches, the gravy, eggnog, mashed potatoes and chips. He'd leave the cake to carry last. "Thank you, Lyra." he said as he took the platter to Morgana, the little elf trailing behind him. "Is this good?" he asked her, aware that she may already have gotten some things herself.
