Why do you want to become a professor: I have spent many years studying wizarding history, and feel that it's time that I put my experience and expertise to a practical use. I feel that the students would benefit from my teaching.

Why you have chosen this subject: I am well versed in wizarding history, and hope to make the subject more interesting and enjoyable for students.

Will you be able to post 1 to 2 lessons/month minimum: Absolutely!

Do you have any previous experience in this field: Yes. I have studied history for nearly ten years, and am considered in expert in my field - modern wizarding history - though I am more than familiar with most historical occurences. I have also written several books concerning my studies and research.

Role Playing Example:

Odin straightened his robes and pushed open the heavy, wooden door that led to his classroom. Several students were already seated - they were early, of course. Odin was never late. He strode briskly between the seats, ignoring the students for now. He reached his desk and set his materials down. Rather than taking a seat, he circled around and leaned against the front of the wooden surface, crossing his arms and looking around the room. After a moment, he lifted his arm to check his watch. Two minutes left - close enough. If his students weren't at least two minutes early, they might as well be late. He pushed himself away from his desk, flicked his wand lazily at the board so that it scrawled his name, and took a few steps toward the class.

"Good morning," he said, his eyes glancing between his students. "My name is Odin Greyback. That's Professor Greyback to you. Now, before we begin, I would like to make the rules of my classroom known. I'll only say them once, and bear in mind that I do not give warnings." His expression remained even as he scanned the room. "I will not tolerate any nonsense in this class. You will listen intently and participate in class discussions, or you will fail. You will take your own notes and complete your own homework, or you will fail. You will arrive on time, or you will not arrive at all, and you will fail. Do I make myself clear?"

The room remained silent. Odin nodded, taking their silence for consent, and turned back to his desk, grabbing the History textbook from his stack of things and flipping through it. He found the desired page and announced it to his class. "Please turn to page twenty-three in your textbooks. Take a moment to read over the first three paragraphs, and then we will discuss."
