| A vase of elegant roses sat on Professor Seamore's desk. It was one of the things that didn't make the Transfiguration classroom look dull. The chalkboard and the desks were already set up, waiting for the youngsters to come and meet their Transfiguration professor. Harvey, the young black and white British Shorthair, was laying peacefully in his owner's arms. Peter sat behind his desk, watching as the first years arrived and took their seats.
"Hello there. My name is Professor Seamore, your Transfiguration instructor. Also, this is Harvey.", he said, holding the cat up to the class. "Harvey is my cat. And, no, he will not be scratching at your faces. Meanwhile, does anyone know what the spell Avifors does?" |

| Lyra entered the Transfiguration classroom nervously, she herd that Transfiguration is very difficult, hopefully she had very patient teacher. Soon enough, the classroom filled up with students and the class started.
"does anyone know what the spell Avifors does?" said professor
"Professor", said Lyra, a first year hufflepuff.
"Avifors or The Avifors Spell was a transforming spell that could be used to change the target into a bird, with a vivid flash of blue light". | |

| Selwyn was immediately put on the alert. Anyone who felt the need to warn you about all the things his evil cat was not going to do to you was up to something. So, he was safe from the cat, huh? But what else was going to kill him here?
Thus, rather than kicking his heels up onto his desk as he would if he'd been in a less deadly classroom, Selwyn sat at attention while some Hufflepuff tried to answer the professor's question. She was probably wrong, though. Everyone knew Hufflepuffs were too squishy to know anything worth knowing. |

| Lyra lowered her hand and began to take notes, She felt someone looking at her, She looked behind her to see a slytherin boy looking. He probably thinks i have the answer wrong . With that in mind, Lyra looked at the slytherin boy and gave him a friendly smile. | |

| Alyssa McLennen sat in a relaxed position behind her desk, slouched slightly with her legs stretched out in front of her. She had been one of the first to arrive in class, as transfiguration was the subject that she was looking forward to most; she had already displayed an adeptness for it while playing with her mother's wand at home.
She eyed the cat distastefully as the professor asked a question that Alyssa knew the answer to. She didn't raise her hand and watched on as a Hufflepuff girl answered instead. She saw a boy in her own house give the Hufflepuff a look as though she had messed up. Alyssa knew that the girl got the answer right - or right enough at least - but Alyssa found herself adding on to the girl's answer. "You can't use avifors on just any target," she said, her voice almost lazy as she spoke. "The spell only works well on small objects." |

| Ryder was sitting in the back section of the class doodling when the professor asked a question. He watched as a Hufflepuff toward the front answered the question quickly. He jotted down the answer in his doodle-covered notes. Another girl, a Slytherin in his own year, spoke up a moment after, adding to the answer slightly. Ryder quickly adjusted his notes and averted his eyes from the professor slightly, hoping that he wouldn't be called on. He hadn't prepared for the lesson like he should have, and was doing his best to avoid demonstrating that to the Professor. |
