Peter sat at his desk, organizing papers. He knew there was a couple more minutes untill the second years arrived. Since he didn't have time to do it himself, he looked at the chalkboard and waved his wand.

Welcome to Transfiguration. I am Professor Seamore, your instructor. Today,we will begin with turning a rabbit into slippers. The process is in your textbook, starting on page 15. Good luck. Also, do not touch the rabbits, he thought to himself, the chalk writing the instructions on the board.

After that, he waved his wand at the desks, which now all had a rabbit on them, waiting patiently for the students.

Sparkle entered the nearly empty Transfiguration classroom and looked at professor Seamore, as it was some silent polite greeting. Purrfect, I'm the furrst. The sight of rabbits intrigued her, and she had to fight a temptation to kill some of them. Sparkle knew perfectly that her presence here was illegal and that it would probably disturb the rabbits, but it was Evan who would be punished for this after all, and she understood this clearly. And in case of troubles, Evan was to blame here, as it was obviously his idea. Maybe he shouldn't have relied on professor Seamore's open-mindedness so much after all. Sparkle walked to the center of the classroom, looked at the professor again with her "I'm really sorry, I was told so" look and jumped on the desk, where she curled and closed her eyes. Maybe it was Sparkle's lucky day, as the rabbit that was sitting on the desk wasn't afraid of her. Rrreally purrfect.

Maya entered the Transfiguration classroom, not knowing what to expect as she had never taken the subject before. She prayed that she would be able to keep up with the other students and would be up for the task. She had heard that it was a difficult subject to master and Maya felt that her workload was swelling as the weeks went by in Hogwarts, there seemed to be no end to the pressure in sight. Maya looked forward to the weekends as she enjoyed them the most, getting to spend time roaming the grounds and hanging out in the common room. She hoped that she could would be able to enjoy it, she thought disdainfully and that she didn't spend it catching up on assignments.

Maya turned her attention back towards the class and a cat caught her eye as soon as she entered. "Hey Sparkle." Maya greeted her, stroking her behind the ears as she purred at her. Maya presumed that Evan would be taking the class too, she looked around but the room which was void of other students. The only other person was a young looking professor whom she had never seen before, she nodded in his direction, acknowledging him. Maya took a seat near the back of the class, wanting to avoid the attention of the professor if she failed miserably at what they were attempting to achieve in today's lesson.

Maya looked at the rabbit on her desk, unsure why it was actually there. She picked it up in her arms as it looked as if it was about to leap away. Maya looked up and realised that there was instructions on the board. She registered Professor Seamore's name before looking on down the blackboard. She tried to stop her mouth from gaping as she looked down at the cute rabbit in her arms. She had to turn it into slippers, was that even possible? It seemed very daunting to Maya as she retrieved her large textbook from her bag and opened it on page 15, expecting to be given very clear instructions on how she was going to accomplish the spell. Her heart dropped when she read over the page, there was a picture of fluffy slippers and the incantation. Not much else to go on. Maya deliberated over what to do next as she waited for more students to enter the classroom.
