| Please read all of THIS before beginning to read this lesson.
Hele waited impatiently for the students to arrive. She wasn't excited to meet the new first years, but she was more interested in teaching them about the plant she had in mind. The moment all the students had arrived, Helen shut the door and stood at the front of the classroom, a wide grin stretched across her face. "Hello and welcome to Herbology! I am Helen Adela, and I will be your teacher for the rest of this term." She scrutinized every student. She swished her wand, and the screen at the front of the classroom opened itself. Simultaneously, something appeared on the black board: Bubotuber "This is a short lesson, as it is just the beginning." She said. "The Bubotuber is large, thick, black slug. The surface of a bubotuber is covered in shiny protrusions, which when squeezed yield a thick, yellowish-green pus that has an odour akin to that of gasoline/petrol. This pus is used to treat acne. But undiluted pus can affect unprotected skin in unintended ways. This suggests that bubotuber pus is a topical treatment, but that the actual salve consists of the pus either diluted in a solution or mixed with other ingredients." Helen sighed. "Homeworks are on the board." She said pointing to the bulletin board. "Class dismissed."
Please DO NOT post ANYTHING in this topic. Homeworks are to be submitted HERE |
